I no I said it was going to a one-shot but nope I'm bored so your getting another 2 chapters so its gonna be a three-shot if that's even a thing so yeah and again italics mean older team speaking and normal is the younger  good? good. oh now one more thing before we get started this AU is the Funblade and Amipiai version I neglected to say that in the first chapter. without further ado lets go!

Walking down the halls to the library Ruby decided  to break the awkward silence that was falling upon the group. "So me how did you end up getting your arm and eye all meh, if you don't, mind me asking that is heehe" Ruby asked her older self as curiosity had beaten her."Ruby that not a polite thing to say! you don't ask someone who has been injured greatly what happened!" Weiss said looking at her partner with a glare because she was observant and saw the reaction of her older self as Ruby mention the old wounds and  the slight flinch of the older Ruby at the question. "Okay kiddo the story's long and I don't think you wanna hear it, boring adult stuff ya no?" Ruby said does she not realise that even though she might be older she still hasn't changed the way she lies. 

Sighing the older Weiss turned to the younger version of her partner 'God look oh cute she looks with those two beautiful stormy eyes' she thought."Ruby, if my Ruby tells you what happened you can not blame yourself and same to you Weiss do not and I mean do not blame yourselves for what happened it will only hurt you more" Weiss said calmly as she look toward Ruby  and nodded. "Okay so I was hounded Weiss to let me help her in the office with all the stuff she had to do"

-flash back- 

"Come on Weiss can I at least help with something I hate seeing you all stressed and stuff, please" Ruby said with a flutter of her eyelashes. "Fine, I have a shipment of Dust coming in later today and would like some help alright" Weiss sighed knowing she had just lost another battle with her girlfriend 'how the hell do I keep losing to her'. Ruby smiled, using her semblance she shot over to her white haired girlfriend and kissed on the cheek and left the room leaving a very flustered women who mumbled out of word that was the very word that had stuck with the head head form day one at beacon to now. "Dolt".

-End flash back-  

"So as we made our way to the warehouse everything seemed normal enough yet when we got to the warehouse there was a...different kind of feeling everything seemed to be perfect, too perfect-" "But isn't it meant to be perfect" Weiss asked with confusion in what she had just heard. "No nothing is ever perfect involving dust, never" Weiss said as she looked down at her wife's metal arm and frowned. Ruby carried on from were she left off with out any other interruptions."- and the fact that when we entered most of the people who worked there seemed to leave.The part that worried  Weiss was the fact that nobody had greeted us at the entrance to explain what kinds of 'Dust' we would be getting, yet what we got instead was explosive dust... a charged dust explosion that's when we realised that this wasn't a normal dust collection this was an assassination attempt on our lives. at that moment we saw them the White Fang coming for a fight"

-flash back-

"Get in the car Ruby lets get going" Weiss said as she entered the car behind her Ruby got in to the car and sat next to Weiss in the back of the car. "Okay okay chill its not like were gonna die by being on time is it?" Ruby asked in a jokey kind of voice. 

Stepping out of the car Weiss went round to the drives "Gerald I would like you to find a spot for you to park, keep close to the factory so that when we come out we don't have to walk far, understood?" Weiss said in a soft voice ,as Gerald had work for her family for years, nodding Gerald drove off. "Now come Ruby I don't fancy staying for long I want to get this done and over with quickly, okay" "Oky-doky Weiss don't worry so much its not good for you" Smiling Ruby and Weiss walked to the front of the warehouse. "That's strange it looks like no one is here, someone should be hear to make sure that we understand what kinds of dust we are coming to collect... they must be inside looking at all the dust" Weiss said talking to no one in general as she talked to herself, Ruby nodded and followed Weiss in to the building. Looking around they saw no one, only a few workers who seemed to be leaving the building rather quickly. "Looks like no ones here sho-" Before Ruby finish her sentence she caught eye of explosive dust crates with charges on them, unfortunately  it was too late to turn around because in the front of her White Fang soldiers were  running toward them, that when the realisation  hit her like a ton of bricks they were going to try to kill Weiss. 

Running toward her girlfriend she whip out Crescent Rose and sent a few shot flying to kill the soldiers who were going for Weiss, coming up along said women Ruby grabbed her hand and cut down more and more men. "Ruby we need to get out of hear now" Weiss said frantically as she castes two  more glyphs toward a ram and wolf faunus. "I no we need to go bu- wait what's that...WEISS LOOK OUT!" Ruby yelled as the explosive dust had ran to the end of its count down and the explosion was big.  Ruby had managed to tackle Weiss to the floor and shield her for the most part. The aftermath was unreal. "R-ruby*coughing hysterical* shit those ass holes, Ruby are you okay...R-uby?" Weiss opened her eyes and tried to see if Ruby was okay yet when she didn't get a reply she panicked she knew Ruby saved her but she didn't know what damage was done to her beloved girlfriend.  Stumbling to her feet she found her girlfriend just 3 feet away in a bloody mess. Running over her  Weiss saw what Ruby had sacrificed to save her life, Ruby had lost her right arm to burn damage and damaged her right eye by burns. Weiss cradled her girlfriend and cried and screamed "I'm sorry, I'm so sorry... Dam you! Why couldn't you take me! me instead of her!" Weiss whiled. She cried until medics came and took both of them to hospital.

-end flash back-

tears formed in Weiss eyes as she remembered how long Ruby was out for, she was in a coma for 4 months and all Weiss got away with was a cut to the bottom of her eye from flying shrapnel. "I'm sorry, I-I didn't oh god I'm sorry" Weiss said as she look between the two adults. She walked up to the older Ruby and hugged her tight. "Hey, I'm okay, were okay, you don't need to be sorry" Ruby hugged her back pulling away Weiss hit ruby with the flat of her palm. "YOU STUPID DOLT!" Weiss started to cry because not only did she get Ruby hurt, Ruby sacrificed her life for her. Ruby step in and walked toward Weiss and pulled her in to a hug. "Shh It's going to be okay, so just shhh" Ruby soothed the young women. "Hey just think this technically this brought us closers, when I woke up after 4 moths In the hospital I pulled the ring out of my old cloths and proposed... you'd never of guessed but she said yes" Ruby smiled at her wife hand and rubbing the wedding band, as Ruby said that Ruby and Weiss both looked up and smiled. Nothing could break the bond they had together.

"Shit shouldn't we be looking for Yang and Blake?" Ruby and Weiss both said in unison looking at each other and smiling at that. while the older versions said something totally different."MIND YOUR LANGUAGE YOU TWO!" the older pair said together. "And yes to answer your question come on let find them so we can kill dear sister yang" Weiss said as she cracked her knuckles and walked down. While the younger scythe wielder stop dead in her tracks. "Wait why are you gonna kill yang?" "Why do you think we are here your dear sister, and sadly mine as well" Weiss said grumbling the last bit while, Ruby stood with her mouth in an 'o' shape, so she ran to catch up to them and head to the library.
