Midnight Island

Chapter 2

The story continues....

It's one month later and Eli is better now, so much he been jumping off the cliffs into the ocean, while Emi watches him from the top of the cliff cheering him on as if it was a game. On their way back to there cave they here someone's footsteps coming. It smells human, but that's not possible. Midnight Island was created for him so no one would be able to find the island, it was in a different dimension then earth. Eli never ventured out of the dimension, but he knew the smell of a human, so after hearing the noise, he jumped into a tree and Emi crouched in the nearby bushes. They both were ready to attack, when out of the crunching leaves on the ground, it was a.... Beautiful girl that looks his age. She looks up and doesn't see a thing then he creeps up from behind her and jumps on her throwing her to the ground. She looks up at him and see's a wolf beside him growling. The wolf was showing her teeth; he looks down and asks, "What is your name intruder?" "I'm not an intruder, my name is Tris, and can you get off of me please?" she answered. Eli isn't pleased that someone snuck into his home; he stands up and says, "What the hell are you doing in my home intruder?" She answers, "I told you I'm not an intruder, number one, and second, I was in my home, I walk out the door and I'm here." Tris looks at him and asks Eli for his name. Eli looks at her suspiciously but he doesn't sense any danger from her, thinking that he will be cautious of her. If anything happens, he will kill her. he says, "My name is Eli, and my companion here is Emi."says Eli. "It's a pleasure to meet you two," replied tris. Eli and Emi stare at each other for a little, then Eli turned around and said, "Follow me. I don't know how you got here, but until we get you back you need somewhere to sleep." Emi said to Eli, "What are you doing! "I don't sense danger from her," said Eli. "Do you Emi?" "I don't," replied Emi "We've never seen our instincts fail us, and I'm not about to distrust them now ," remarked Eli, and kept walking toward the beautiful cave. Later on that day, while sitting in silence, it breaks when Tris asks Eli, "Have you always been out here alone?" Eli glances over to her, and says, "Yes, I was born here but I'm not alone. I have Emi and the other creatures of Midnight Island." Since it is sundown, it is time to go to bed for tonight. Eli says to Tris, "Here, you can sleep on these leaves and I'll sleep over there. If you want something thats extremely important, I can help you get it." "Thanks for being so nice to me, Eli," she said. he glances over at her with his gentle sapphire eyes then walks away. The next morning Tris opens her eyes to see that Eli wasn't there so she walks out and sees his cloth's in a trail towards a some bushes so she follows the trail and sees a young girl around her and eli's age confused to who she is, she also sees Eli, there both inbathing suits, he spots her and she starts to blush. Eli asks "would you like to join us tris",  in a frustrated tone she asks "who is the girl who is in there with you?" 

"Its Emi, tris she's in her human form. Are you going to join us or not?."
