Lets Pinky Promise!- Modern! Attack on Titan (Armin Arlert x Reader)

Kindergarten

You walk, holding your mom's hand tightly. To be honest, You were nervous and scared. Today was your first day in Kindergarten. You wore your (h/c) hair up in pig tails with white ribbons at the end of them. "Don't worry hun, remember what I told you, always be nice and be your self! If you do that , you will make friends in no time!" Your mother happily said. You nodded , I mean come on, You were like, six years old.Everything was scary for you! In a minute or so, you two stopped at a door with happy lady bugs decorated on it and a pink big card saying " Ms. Panter " on it. ' I guess that's my teacher's name ' you thought to your self. You watched your mother open the door and what came into view, scared but excited you at the same time. You saw kids running around, playing with toys and some other kids sitting at yellow round tables , drawing with crayons and color pencils. You then saw a older woman with a kind smile walk up to your mother. " Oh! You must be here with another student!" She then looked down at you and gave you a big,warm smile. She then placed a sticker on your uniform that said " You are bee-tastic!" with a smiling bee beside the words. You smiled, knowing that she was going to be a nice teacher. You looked back up at your mom and saw that she was finishing up signing some papers and then gave them to the teacher. Your mom bended over and looked into your eyes and said ," Mommy has to go now , ok? Don't worry! I will come back to take you back home when your fun day is over! " . You wanted to protest but you stayed quiet, feeling an overwhelming sad feeling. You wanted to cry. You didn't want to be left alone ,but you knew you had to get through this day. You watched her leave and then Ms. Panter looked at you and said "Go ahead! It's recess time! Make some friends! You can play with the toys and play dough or you can draw! " she then walked off attending to a girl with a brown ponytail who was crying over a....potato ...? Anyway, you looked around, trying to see what you could do. You then saw a green eyed brunette next to a black haired, Asian girl. And next to that girl was a blue eyed blonde boy. He was reading a book. And he made you blush a little. You didn't know what that was so you just brushed it off. 'They seem okay to play with...!' You thought confidently to yourself. The brunette was playing with a truck and the Asian girl just watched with a blank expression .You walked up to them nervously and immediately , the three children turned their attention towards you. "Um..Can I...Can I play with you guys..?" . The brunette immediately said, " Hi ! I'm Eren and this is my sister Mikasa, and this is my best friend Armin! And this is my favorite blue truck! Wanna help me destroy the giants with the truck? I call the giants , 'Titans'!" You looked at him for a second, processing everything he told you. " S-sure I guess...!" You sat down with him and then looked to your side to see Armin reading his book again. You then tapped his shoulder and said ," Hi..! I'm (y/n)..! It's nice to meet you!". The blonde looked at you startled and then smiled awkwardly and said," O-oh..Im Armin.." He said shyly. Meanwhile, Eren completely forgot about his request for you to play with him . He was too busy 'wiping out all of the Titans'. "So, what are you reading..?" You said , looking curiously at the book he was holding. "Oh ! It's just ' Green eggs and ham ' . I found it on the book shelf." You were amazed that he could read that easily! Most kids her age were still in the process of reading correctly! "Wow! You are good at reading..! You must be a genius or something!" . Armin blushed a little at that.You then scooted closer to him to read with him. Through out that day, you played with Eren, Mikasa , and Armin. You knew that you had found yourself some great friends. It was now time to leave. You were sad because you wanted to stay but you knew you would see them again tomorrow. Before you got into the car to go home you saw Armin run up to you. "(y/n)!!" He finally came up to you and said ," I will see you tomorrow! I had LOTS of fun with you! Eren and Mikasa both like

you too! But to officially be in our trio, you have to pinky promise something!" You looked at him confused. "What will I pinky promise...?" Armin looked at you with his ocean blue eyes and said holding his pinky out towards you, " Pinky promise that we will be best friends forever and ever?" You looked at Armin and blushed a little as you wrapped your pinky around his. "Sure Armin, I Pinky Promise".
