Still the Beginning

Kimmy's pov

As I walked down the school hallway I could hear the principal yelling at everyone. "How annoying her voice can be at times" I thought to myself. I continued to walk as I got breakfast. I sat at the lunch tables and I saw my friends and we walked off. We walked in the gym talking and laughing, but then they stopped talking and I was the only one talking for a couple of seconds before I was interrupt by the gym coach Mrs.Tallman. She irratates my whole life.

"Detention"

She yelled as she walked fast in to the gym. I was mad but I knew better not to talk back as I went to the wall I watched everyone come through the door and my eyes stopped on one person David. My stomach grew with butterflies as I looked at him. I've had a huge crush on him since the 7 grade (I'm a freshman by the way). The way he walked and talked I just couldn't look away until one of his friends got called the same way I did. We both stood on the wall til everyone left and we walked to class together, silently, not a word nor a sound. Until I decided to break the silence only to be spoken to by Mrs.Tallman again. I decided to just not talk until I got to class. I sat by my best friend Tammy, who had her eyes on my cousin, Derrick. She has this crush on him but all I see is him being ugly. I closely watched as a girl walked over to Derrick only to be all up on him. I made a face full of disgust and I talked to Tammy.

"Hey Tammy"

"Hey Kimmy" she said full of sadness

"Are you heart-broken over that stupid boy ?"

"No I'm okay"

"Well don't worry about him we have work to do"

The time went by fast then the bell rang. Next thing I know it was time for lunch and I really didn't feel like going to detention, but I knew I would never be able to dodge it. Tammy and I went to our lockers and we met up with Chyna. We walked into the cafeteria and sat down at the tables. After we were done eating I told them what I had to do on lunch hour. They understood. I walked into the detention room and I noticed it was only me and him. There was silence until he and I looked at each other and it I noticed it was Jacquees. I thought to myself I live by him,I know him, but I guess I never really noticed him. Then he spoke.

"Hey your the girl from my bus"

"Yeah, I am and I live by you also"

"Hey no talking" an old lady yelled as she walked into the room and she gave us the rules orally. Then she walked out again.

"So what's your name"

"My name, wow I'd thought you'd never ask but my name is Kimmy"

"Mines is Jacquees"

"I know, I've heard things about you" I lied but I knew it would carry our conversation farther.

"What all did you hear" he said letting out a slight smile as he spoke.

I smiled a little and said "So many things about you" I lied again as he let out a smile. Then the old lady came back into the room and said "No talking"

He smiled back and said "Why won't you just tell me the things you've heard"

"Then it wouldn't be any fun" I said letting out another smile while he looked at me and smirked showing his dimple in his left cheek. The old lady came back in one more time and this time she yelled "I SAID NO TALKING YOU LITTLE NIGGERS"

There was no more talking because this time she stayed in the room with us until it was time to go. We were let out the detention room and as we walked away we both looked back and smiled at each other. I found Tammy and Chyna and told them all about what happened. We talked to each other and hoped for what the future holds...

So how was that chapter, I hope it was good so yeah and I'm going to publish another story tomorrow but have a great day my love bugs. HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS CHAPTER AND THE STORY SO FAR!!!!
