Till The Journey Ends

Chapter 4

Nora's P.O.V.

I don't know how long I've been here but every once in a while some man comes in here with a whip and whips me till i'm no longer conscious. I haven't been fed either and I'm gonna tell you something, I'm fucking starving.  I move slightly to my right so I could lean up against the wall without hurting my wrist with the cuffs.

I don't how long but soon Richard(the guy who kidnapped me and killed my brother) walked in. "I have a surprise for you." He says while getting closer to me. I flinch when comes and strokes my cheek. "I'm not gonna hurt you, yet." He laughs at my face.

"You have been chosen to be in the full moon ritual. You will sacrifice yourself to the goddess like your brother." At the mention of my brother a tear slides down my face.

"Ahh don't worry you would have a better ceremony and since no one is coming after you we can finish it." At that he walk ed out of the chamber and left me in complete darkness again. A cry as the memory of my brother comes into play.

Are parents told us to run in the woods so we did. We ran and ran. I stopped and looked back for just a split second and saw people coming after us. "Nora keep running and don't look back." my brother Jason says and grabs my hand as we keep running. We finally enter the woods and the men behind us are getting closer.

I scream when someone pulls me back by my hair. I ended up letting go of Jason's hand in the process. Jason stops and turns around to help me but all  I say is "NO Jason run run for your life and don't stop running I will be fine."

"No Nora I can't leave you." He comes running to help me but stops mere inches away from me when we both heard a gun shot. He looks down at his chest as blood starts to seek through.

"NOOOOOO." At this point I'm sobbing uncontrollably. His body drops to the ground and one of the man start to drag him back to wear there boss is. I get kicked in the side to stop my screaming and began to get dragged after my brother. 

After what seems like hours , I hear a thunk and I'm released. I get up and look around to find that my kidnapper was dead. I looked around to find a man hiding behind a tree. He motions for me to come to him and a reluctantly replied by heading over to him.

"I'm here to save you and your brother." The strange man says.

"You are to late to save my brother." I say harshly at him. He looks sad for a sec then went back to being serious.

"Follow me if  you want to live." He turns around and heads off somewhere and I rather be with him than the people who killed my Jason. After walking for a while we ended up by a road with a truck parked on the side. I'm guessing it was his.

The memory slowly faded but I still remember my brothers dead face. I ended up crying myself to sleep.

*Later that day*

Jem's P.O.V.

She has been gone well over a month and the full moon is tonight. Are whole pack is out looking for her. But no one has seemed to have found her yet.

"I'm going out for a run guys." I tell every one who is at the cabin. I took off out the door and into the woods and shifted mid air into my midnight black wolf. I run as fast as I can jumping over rocks and tree stumps. 

I ended up going to my favorite place. The lake. I love going to the lake because of the beauty of it. While stuck in thought I heard a twig snap behind me. I turn around in my fighting stance ready to attack but once a saw it was just a chocolate brown wolf telling me it was Will I relaxed.

'Are you okay?' he mind linked me.

'Yeah I'm just so worried about Nora. We haven't had any leads to where she could be.'  I mind linked him back.

We sat in silence for a long time before heading back to the cabin.
