So, can you blame me? Everyone has one. I'm just brave enough to Admit it. I became friends with him, and gave him girl advice to hide it. I told him we would never happen, that I only liked him as a friend. But I lied, his name was Landon. He had a blonde mop of hair and brown eyes, he was like me in a way, he was funny. Why I liked him I knew it wasn't his hair or his clothes or his eyes, it was something deeper. He could stand out in a crowd, in the best way. He was really funny. And I don't know if it was everything or nothing. He made the dimmest jokes and I still laughed, but he never knew until one day I told my friend Avery Nelson he became close with me, and I couldn't keep it from him I didn't care that he was so close with Landon I trusted him and I told him, and on a Friday it all happened he told me that Landon liked me back I was like in shock, this never happened to me I'm kind of a turnoff for guys to like like me but not for guys that are friends. And he confirmed too! I was going to my uncles and I texted Landon until at least 10:00 that night, it was the best feeling like my whole life was put into place, then he asked me to the ball in a pretty cool way. Of course I was way stupid and didn't figure it out it was a moment I will never forget.
