Hai! I'm Kandie. How're you? Oh wait, you can't answer because this is a book. Whatever. You see, this first chapter will be in my perspective so you can get to know me a bit better. Also the picture above ^ is me! Yay! So anyways, back to the story.
It all started in November. We lived in the country, but moved to the city. The air is so dirty! Ugh! And everyone judges me because of my scene hair! If I want to cover my ugly eyes, I will do it how I please! I hate when people judge others! I also have wings that I have to keep uncomfortably folded under my shirt and wear a jacket so it doesn't show. I think my parents have almost forgotten I have wings. Anyways, it was November and I was walking with my Chinese dragon friend (feel free to correct me Brooke) Kooky. We're strippers because all the stress of school was unhealthy for me so I had to drop out, Kooky following because she hates school and is a very sweet and loyal friend even if she won't admit it. We always had a plan that if our education failed, we were sexy enough to be strippers! Well, that was before the self hatred and insecurity set in. I stayed with it because it takes a lot to get good at the pole, Kooky looked hot as Fuchs when we did partner shows, and I think people gave me extra money because of my wide corgi hips. I hate them. I was never able to shed weight off them so I have to wear bigger pants than I should at 19. Yeah, i know, I'm pretty young. I don't look it though. Also, I always have a pocketknife and have cut three muggers. Don't fluff with me. Ugh, I always get off track. Let me start again.
Hi, I'm Kandie. I work a stripper job with my friend Kooky and this story begins in November when a new guy showed up to the club. Now, I wouldn't say he was hot because he had some chub, but he was cute and mad really cool hair. It was like Elvis hair but more modern. Our city was small, so you would only see regular customers. It was so rare when we got new customers that we tried to work extra hard to impress them. He strayed around and looked at all the other furries, of course they looked good, but stopped when he saw me. At first I thought I was doing something wrong, but when he smiled my energy and confidence boosted. I'm pretty sure I got $500 bucks just from him alone. When my shift was done, I texted Josephine to take over because her and rafiki really need the money, and went over to talk to my special newbie customer.
