**Lacey has her own SoundCloud now!! Well... It's mine but I made the name Lacey Mourey and the music on there is what I think she would like... Well... All the music I like and listen to. Lacey is based off me and 2 other people, so, yeah.**

I walk towards the huge building called my school between an over-excited Katie, and barely awake Jacob. We follow this guy into the school and stop in our tracks. So. Many. People. Ew.

"I'll ask someone where the office is!" Katie runs up to a group of girls, and shoves between two of them, flipping her shiny black hair back. They look kinda mad for a moment, then indifferent. Eventually, one girl with blonde hair steps out and gestures Katie to follow.

"Lacey, Jacob, come on!!" Katie calls, trotting off beside the girl. I follow suit, with Jacob beside me. The four of us walk through the hallway.

You are too scared to walk these halls

What. The. Actual. Heck. That voice.. I look desperately at Katie, Jacob and the girls face, to see any sign of anything, whether they heard it or caused it. Nothing. Jacob looks just as sleepy, Katie keeps on talking and the girl keeps nodding absently. I run my hands through my hair. I'm not scared. I don't think I'm scared.

"Here it is. Have fun!" The girl walks off. What was that voice. Eh, forget it. I walk into the office. There is a secretary there, and her nameplate thing says Ms. Johnason. She looks at us.

"May I help you?" She seems bored. Very bored. I look around the office. There is a printer, a clock, some switches. Looks boring.

"Can we have our maps and schedules, please?" Katie asks politely.

"Last name?"

"Mourey." Ms. Johnason types something, I'm guessing my last name. She then examines the screen and clicks a few things. The printer starts printing. She rolls her chair back, and collects the printed papers. She lays them out on the desk. The bell rings.

Great.

Not only am I new, now I am late.

"Kaitlyn, Lacey and Jacob?" The secretary looks at us over her glasses, soooo creepy. "Here's your schedule and map." Ms. Johnason pushes the sheets at us and sits down in front of her computer screen. I take mine.

"Yeah, bye." I say and leave the office. After many minutes and weaving around many halls, I arrive at my class. I hesitate before knocking, ugh I hate being the centre of attention, not kidding. A teacher answers. I look at my page.

"Mrs. Anderson?" I ask.

"Yep. You must be the new girl!" She exclaims. Too loud. Much too loud. "Come in!" She opens the door wider and waits until I'm in before she shuts it. "Everyone, this is the new girl, Lacey Mourey. There is a spot beside Khushi." She points me at the frantically waving girl I met yesterday. At least someone knows me. I trudge over there, feeling everyone's eyes on me. I sit down and take off my glasses to clean them. Mostly just to ignore everyone.

"Hi!" Khushi whispers. I look at her and wave slightly. The teacher is calling out attendance.

"Lacey Mourey?" You know that moment when you don't know what to say during attendance. Yeah. Yeah... I'm gonna try to seem cool though.

"Hi?" I say awkwardly. So much for being cool. People look at me. Ugh, can people stop staring at me? Sure, I'm new, but I'm not a freaking alien.

So, as most of you readers know, school is boring. This English class was no exception. Neither was Social Studies or Math. But now it's finally lunch. During English, I got assigned a locker. So, I start to open it. So clean. It won't be in a few days.
