I groaned and got up from my bed at the noise of my alarm clock. "Mya! Time for your first day of your junior year! At the new school!" yelled mom from down the stairs. I mumbled "why did we have to move?" I groaned again and went through my newly arranged closet finding a newer camo t-shirt to through over my sports bra and I rummaged around my drawers in my dresser to find a gray pair of sweats and some undies.
I put those on and walked into my bathroom. grabbed my mascara, foundation, eyeliner, and lip gloss. Deciding I was only going to wear mascara, eyeliner, and a little bit of foundation I put my lipgloss back and started applying my crappy use of make-up.
"Mya! Get a move on! You have 20 minute till we have to leave!" yelled my friend Hunter. I know weird name for a girl but she lives with it. "Shut your pie hole and come up here and help me!" I screamed back down at her. I then heard feet pounding up the stairs.
"Dude. I seriously wonder how our parents both got job opportunities here," she said sarcastically.
"I know but it's awesome they all work for the same company. I know you love it." She mumbled and I laughed. Then grabbed my stuff and we went down for 2 granola bars. I walked out and grabbed the keys to her car and hopped in.
"You realize I need those to get us to school right?" she laughed as I held on to them tightly while texting my mom that we were leaving. I stuck my tougue out at her while rolling my eyes. She grabbed the keys and we started heading for the school. Me and Hunter met 2 days before freshmen year was over. We also had lots of sleepovers and get togethers. Turns out her parents work with my parents but they moved to Rolling Pines, Colorado 3 years before we did.
