I let her walk ahead. I pulled my gun, cocked it, then aimed. She froze. She turned to me, crossbow loaded and finger on the trigger. She lifted it and aimed at my heart. I aimed at hers.
Then we both pulled the trigger.....
The story is officially over. Don't know if they are all dead or not. Who knows? Final chapter, final book. It's all over now. They might be alive, but what if all the books were just a lie? A dream? I don't even know what this has all come to. For now though it is,
