Beautifully Dark

Chapter 2:

Mackenzie's POV

I knew that Jaedyn expected me to blow up on her because she was dating my ex, but I didn't care. It didn't bug me any. "I'm happy for you!" I said with a smile. Jaedyn looked at me weird but smiled and grabbed her clothes. She had almost the exact same outfit, but the shirt was baby blue. She ran to the bathroom and changed.

That's when my phone went off. I reached over and checked it. It was a text from an unknown number. I ignored it and laid back down on my bed. I heard Mason screaming from down the hallway. "Mason be quiet!" I yelled. He just kept getting louder and louder. I heard someone screaming. I jumped up and ran down the stairs. "What's going on?!"

Mason was sitting alone in the kitchen. He was reaching overhis high chair, trying to grab his cup. "Mason stop!" I picked him up out of his high chair and handed him his cup. He smiled and laid his head on my shoulder.

"Kenz are you ready to go?" Jaedyn yelled down the stairs. I took my son upstairs and nodded.

"Just let me put Mason to sleep and I'll be right outside. Watch for Josh," I said half walking, half running to his room. "Mommy's gonna be back soon okay?" I kissed his forehead and gave him his milk cup, sitting him down in his crib. "I'll tell Meme to watch you." I started to turn around when I thought I heard him say something. "What?" I said.

"I wuv you Mama," Mason said. I bit back tears as I hugged him tightly. "I love you too baby boy!" I said sitting him back down in his crib. 

I ran back to my room, running right into Jaedyn. We both fell to the ground laughing. "Let me get my sandals!" I opened our large door and ran inside, grabbing my shoes and my cheer bag and running back downstairs to meet my best friend at the door. "Ready!" I slipped my black sandals on.

Then Josh pulled up in his red pickup truck. I grinned and looked at my best friend. "Lets go!" We raced for the middle seat. It was the comfiest out of the three seats in the truck. I jumped ahead of her and hopped in the truck. I started laughing, until I realized how mad Josh made me. He had brown hair, blue eyes, and a perfect body. Everything about him was perfect, until you got to his personality.

I hopped out of the truck and let Jaedyn in. She looked at me weird but accepted and got in. I sat in the passenger seat and closed the door. "So...." Josh said awkwardly. I looked out the window and rolled my eyes. "How's Mason?" I looked at him with hate and shook my head. I wasn't about to talk about our baby in front of his girlfriend.

Once we got to the arena where the concert was, I hopped out of the truck. Jaedyn took the oppotunity and hopped on top of Josh and kissed him. "I'll see you soon!" she said and got out of the truck. He smirked and watched us walk away.

I looked at my best friend. We knew what we were doing. We went up to the guards that were at the gates and smiled. "Hello! We're part of the crew for One Direction! We just got hired a few weeks ago, so if you wouldn't mind letting us through, I think everyone would be very grateful!" The two smiled and allowed us to go through. We had done it! I looked at Jaedyn and grinned. 

I looked around the arena. Now all we had to do was find something to occupy ourselves! "Hello ladies!" A male voice said. I turned around only to come face to face with the one and only Louis Tomlinson.
