Hey, guys Ryuko here. So to make this short I know in the summary it said this story is Shino's story, but I have to put Kazutos point of view in some parts to make the story have some dialog. Hope you guys understand. Now onto the story.
Kazuto/Kirito P.O.V
I took the helicopter to get a bird's eye view of the 3 districts to see fully what's going on. I check my tablet and saw that we still have the number of troops we started with. We are making good progress since it's been 2 hours already.
'I should check on Sinon to see if she's good. I'm a little worried about her. What if her PTSD attacks trigger between all of this?' I thought as I scroll down our troops list.
"Commander we officially cleared district 3. V. Commander Asada is leading the rest of the snipers to district 4 for the check before we send in the tanks." The pilot.
"Good. Patch me in so I can send her the coordinates from here." I replied.
"Copy that. She should be ready."
I scan for the enemy troops at 4 and my goodness it was many. We also have hostages at the end to. I send the snipers the coordinates except for the end.
"Kazuto what happen to the end? If we don't clear it now they can get into the other districts we cleared." Sinon asked.
"It's alright. At the end there are hostages. When the last of our tanks are in the districts, I'm going to send you the coordinates of the rest of the district. You can handle it from there."
"Alright we'll go ahead some more." Then I heard a couple of gunshots that were to close for comfort. "My goodness...Kazuto we need first aid here. You two, get that solider to the side and go on ahead. I'll stay here until first aid comes."
'Man, at this rate I don't think we can continue to 5. Most of the troops that were sent out today are either severely injured or dead except for our snipers and tank people.' I thought as I grabbed the first aid stuff and the helicopter lower me down to a roof of a building.
Once I got to the ground floor I ran towards the fallen soldier who was struggling. Sinon was already there giving pressure to the wound. I came to them and started treating the wound.
"C-commander, please tell me I'm going to live. I have a wife a two children to get home to." The soldier winced
"It's going to be alright. Just try to not talk or move, it's going to get worse if you do that." Sinon said.
"Alright, I stich it up and put him to sleep for now but he lost a lot of blood. I don't think we have blood type A-C on the field." I said wiping my forehead.
"I do. I wouldn't usually state my blood type like that but it is an emergency so ill donate my blood for him." Sinon offered.
"Are you sure? He needs lots of it. What about you?" I asked.
"What about me. This soldier is dying. If a soldier is fading and there is something I can do, I will do it." She vowed as she get somethings from my bag.
She donated some of her blood to the soldier so he can be ok until he gets back to the base then official doctors can cure him. Sometimes I think she can be a little stubborn but I think that's one of the many factors that makes her unique.
Once a helicopter came and transported the broken soldier out of here I saw the last of the tanks get in district 4 so I gave Sinon the rest of the map data of the area so she can get going.
"Try your best to get them but if anything goes to the left, come back to the base." I said.
"Don't worry." She said then she went on her bike and drove off.
