Emma:
I went out side like the person told me to. I walked around a bit but no one came."Hello. Is anyone here?" I called out. Suddenly a tall figure came out of the shadow.
"Emma I'm glad you came."
"Stay away from me." I said backing away.
"It's been so long since we've seen each other I thought it would be nice if we went out for something to eat."
"I don't want anything to do with you."
"You don't want to see me?"
"No. Just leave me alone."
"Get over here now!" He demanded.
"Get away from me!" I started to run away and the person caught up to me.
"You are a really bad girl Emma. I guess you haven't learned."
"You got what you wanted. Just leave me alone." I said trying to break out of his hands.
"I don't think so." I tried wrestling my way out but it didn't work.
"Well well well. If it isn't John Swift." Nate said.
"Nate." I said breathlessly.
"What do you want Maloley? Can't you see I'm having a conversation here."
"How about you just give me Emma."
"How about you leave before I shoot you again."
Nate started to walk closer to me when John pulled out a gun.
"So same thing from the ice rink or would you actually just turn around and leave?"
"I think I'm going to stay."
"If you say so." John pointed the gun to Nate and fired three times. But he missed all three times due to his lack of skill.

"How'd you know I was going to be there?""Because I sent you the note."
"No you didn't."
"Yes. I told you to wait for me at lunch outside of the school."
"So what about John?"
"I guess he was just waiting for you."
"Well thanks for being here. You know when you were."
"It's cool. But um there was something I did want to talk about."
"What?"
"I wanted to know if we can maybe go out to eat?"
"Uh sure. But where?"
"Probably your favorite burger joint?"
"Are you kidding I'd love to go. I haven't been there in forever."
"Great. So after school?"
"Or we can go right now."
"You finally want to shed your good girl rep. But I can't let you do that."
"And why not?"
"Because I don't want to get you in trouble and have to comfort you when you cry."
"Ha ha ha. Your so funny." I said turning to his car as we both left the school.
We got into the car and right away Nate left the parking lot.
"Ok but no crying once you get a bad report. I warned you not to go."
"I'll manage. Now hurry up you made me skip lunch."
"Ok fine." He said laughing.
We finally got to my favorite burger place but Nate passed it.
"Nate where are we going?"
"Dave and Busters."
"Oh ok."
I was a little worried and scared considering I had just got home from being held against my will in a broken down terrible house.
We made it to Dave and Busters and it wasn't that packed but still had a lot of little kids coming here for a trip.
"Isn't this fun?" Nate asked with a smile on his face.
"Yea. But why did you want to bring me here?"
"To talk."
"Ok. What do you have to say?"
"I just wanted to talk about things. Like Rosa. How is she?"
"She's good. A very healthy baby."
"Does she give mommy any problems? Do I have to come and teach her a lesson?" Nate said making me giggle.
"No I don't need you to teach her a lesson. She's a good baby but cries a lot."
"But what do you suspect? She a new born baby."
"Yea I know."
"Are you a good big sister to her?"
"Yea. Last night she slept in my room with me and Tory."
"Aww that's cute."
We both walked over to the first game which was Big Bass Wheel. I put in the card and pulled the lever. Then Nate went and we both took turns going.
"Alright this is the last time. Then we're going to another game."
"Got it." I said.
Since it was the last time, Nate and I pulled the lever together making our hand touch. We both looked into each others eyes and we leaned in. But I pulled away.
"Maybe you should get the last turn." I suggested moving away.
"You sure?"
"Yea."
