Chayenne walked into her house. "MOM I'M HOME" Her mom immediately came up to her. 'Oh hey sweety..Eh..' "Mom what is it? What's wrong?" 'Well.. it's your brother' chay's heart cracked... what had he done now... her brother was annoying and rude sometimes but she loved him more than you could imagine. 'He's.. well he's gone..' "WHAT?" 'I.. i don't know where he is.. You know he didn't start school yet today but when i woke up he just wasn't here.' Chay slowly shaked her head. "No.. no he must have gone to a friend or something.. you must have forgot he asked.." 'Honey if he went to a friend he would never have left so early.' Chay frowned. "Mom do you even care? You're so fucking calm about this for fucks sake mom! Cal is missing! Aren't you worried?" 'Ofcourse i care, he's my son.' "Well fucking show it then goddamnit!" Chayenne ran up the stairs and into her room. She slammed her door shut. She grabbed her head. "Fuck, fuck, fuck." She walked in circles around her room. Tears started coming from her eyes. She took her phone and called Cal. "Come on little brother pick up please pick up.." 'Hello this is Calvin..' "Cal? Oh my god where ar-" 'i can't pick up the phone right now so leave a message or call me back, bye!' She hung up. "Shit voicemail.." Chay then tried calling Jen. "Pick up pick up" voicemail again.. Chay didn't know what to do. She looked around her room. Her eyes stopped at the desk where her journal was laying. She walked towards it and sat down by her desk. She opened her journal to an empty page and grabbed a pen.
Dear brother,
I have no idea where you are right now, or why you left. I hope you're okay.. i really do. You have no idea what you mean to me Cal. Even though you're an annoying, one-day-younger brother, i really love you. Please be allright.. I wouldn't know what to do if something happend to you. I'm the big sister after all. You'll probably never even see this letter but i need to get this all off my chest. You have no idea what you've done. I don't blame you tho, i'd runaway too but i guess i just don't want to leave you and mom. Not like dad just left us like we meant nothing to him.. I hope we mean something to you Cal. And i hope you come back. I can't afford to lose you. You're the one that's always there for me when others are busy or just don't understand. You always understand me.. I.. i really have no idea what to do right now..
I can't handle the silence.. I miss the loud music coming from your room, i miss you yelling at your video games, i miss the sound of you calling your friends, so fricking loud that i could hear everything you said.
Mom's really worried too you know. I know you think she doesn't care about you, but she does. She just doesn't show it that much. And i bet she would act the same if i went missing.
Please cal, please come back.Chayenne looked at the page. Several teardrops had fell on it so there were some wet circles who made the ink of the pen bleed. She opened a drawer from her desk and digged through the papers. "I know it's in here somewhere.." She finally found it, a picture of her and her brother in front of the Big Ben in London. They looked so happy.. She stuck the picture between the page she had just written on and the other page. Chay closed her journal and stood up. She looked at her phone. Still nobody that cared.. She walked over to her bed. Her laptop was on it. Chayenne opened her laptop and thought about what music to play. She looked up at her walls and ceiling where she had hung many band posters. Her eyes scanned them all and stopped by a special poster. It was a poster from a concert she had gone to with Calvin. She smiled while a tear rolled down her face. Chay decided this was a good moment to listen to the band again. She didn't play it too loud. This wasn't a good moment to play your music loud. She sat there, on her bed with her back against the wall. Tears were still coming out of her eyes. The little teardrops itched her nose as they rolled past it. She was thinking about the day they went to London together. He had arranged the whole thing because he knew how bad Chay wanted to go there. It was one of the best days of her life. So was the day of the concert. She spent all her money to get vip tickets. She was glad she did though because vip tickets included a meet and greet and a goody bag. The band were such nice people and she had talked to them for a while. Her brother was also very happy because they both listened to that band. He got his arm signed, he then got the signatures tattooed. Their mom thought it was okay so with her permission he could get it done. Chay had a lot of wonderful memories with her brother, she was so afraid of losing him.. She started crying even more, she grabbed her blanked and tightly squeezed it as tears fell down her face.
The only thing she wanted was her brother to come back.
