"Unidentified male, vitals are stable but he's lost a lot of blood. K-9 bite to the left facial extremities. Push 20 of etomidate and 100 of sux, let's get a trauma series, order trauma labs and hang some o-neg blood. Start antibiotics and stop that bleeding! Page Bishop in Plastics!" Dillon O'Grady found himself on a gurney, being rolled into Richmond Trinity Hospital. Nurses running around frantically, attempting to stop the bleeding from the open wounds in his face, neck, and all over the rest of his body. The sting of sterilization was almost too much for him to handle, whimpers were all he could manage to get out. "Dil-" He tried to identify himself. "Dillon." His voice was shaky, unstable.
"His name is Dillon!" A nurse called out to anyone who was listening. "Dillon what?" She asked trying to get his eyes to focus on her face.
"D-Dog." was all that came out. "Dog bite."

"Talleuluh Marie Brooklyn! It's time to go!" Tally heard her mother call to her from her Crow's Nest bedroom.
"I'm coming!" She said as she jumped the stair that lead to her bedroom, landing with a thud on the floor. She ran to the door and flung it open, walking across the boarding dock of her parents shiphouse. With the familiar pitter-patter of the creaky wooden board under her feet, she ran to the end of the pier and jumped off into the cool ocean water.
As the bubbles cleared, Tally opened her eyes. She swam as long as she could hold her breath. A staggaring 2 minutes 45 seconds. As her face broke the surface, she turned around and looked back at the pier she'd just jumped off of to see her mom waving at her. It was the same routine every morning. Swim before breakfast, off to school, swim team afterwards, dinner, late-night swim, and then sleep. Tally lived for the water, it calmed her.
The steady roll of the waves started to turn into an angry tossle of white foam and dark water. Tally looked up to see a monster wave crashing overhead. "Shit." She whispered as the wave took her under, pounding like a ton of bricks on top of her. As her body was thrown against the ocean floor, she felt something stick her in the lower back as she winced in pain. The stinging sensation in her nose was almost unbearable as the water flushed through her sinuses. She kicked her feet and clawed for the surface, managing to gasp what seemed like a millisecond of oxygen before the waves pulled her down again, spinning her around once again. She felt her body being crushed against the sandy bottom of the beach.
The water was getting shallow, but Tally could not manage to get her feet underneath her to stand, but suddenly she felt a pair of hands under her arms. Instantly she was able to breathe again, clutching the arm of her rescuer. She coughed uncontrollably as she exhaled what seemed like 50 gallons of water from her lungs.
"Are you okay?" She heard her mother ask her as she was dragged onto the sand. "Talleuluh!" Her mother said gripping the side of her face as she tried to get a response out of Tally. "Oh my god." She said looking at her hands, covered in her daughters blood. "Call an ambulance!"
Darkness.

"Leo!" A familiar voice called to him as they climbed Mt. Brenne to the trailes. "Let's go! Stop lolly-gagging!"
"I'm coming." He panted, his legs weak from exhaustion. "Just give me a second." He said proping himself up on his knees. "The waterfalls aren't going to dry up in the next few minutes, let's just take out time." He said standing up straight. "Lidia!" He called to the familiar voice in front of him as she faded from his view.
"Come on!" Leo heard her voice, distant.
He took off in a sprint again, trying to catch up with her. He came to a set of stairs, leading up to the ledge. Lidia's blonde hair could be seen flowing in the wind behind her. Skipping two stairs as a time, his long legs giving him an advanage over Lidia, and soon came to a scretching hault. "There it is." He said out of breath. A huge waterfall in front of them.
"It's it beautiful?" Lidia said in awe. "Let's jump it!" She said pulling her shirt over her head to reveal a turquoise swimsuit.
"J-Jump?" Leo said as he felt his arms go limp in fear. "I don't know, aren't there rocks at the bottom?"
"No, of course not, there would be signs telling us not to jump if there were any danger here." She said going up towards the top of the waterfall.
"Lidia!" Leo said climbing after her. "Wait, I don't think this is a good idea!" His hand touched the top of the hill, looking down at the water he realized just how high up he was. "I-I really don't like this."
"Don't be a wus. Jump." Lidia said pushing him closer to the edge.
"I don't want to." Leo said planting his feet into the rock. "You go first." He said turning around and putting her in front of him.
"Leo, don't be that guy that makes the girl go first." She said looking at him, eyedrow raised. "Jump and I'll give you a special congradilatory present at the end."
"Really?" He replied.
"Yes, really."
Leo sized up the jump, thinking about how much he'd have to jump out to clear the ledge. 'It's not so bad... I can do this. It's just a little jump.' He said backing up to the back up for his jump.
"Really?" He asked again for reassurance.
"Really, really. Now jump!" She yelled.
Leo took off, approaching the ledge with great speed. As his foot left the ledge, the feeling of instand regret filled his system, he let out a small yell. His legs moved as he tried to remain upright. He looked down for a split-second, and letting out a girlish scream. He found himself lying on his back, his head pounding almost like his skull had been bashed against the inside of his head. His heart skinking into his stomach and his stomach rising up to his chest.
"Leo!" Lidia screamed, falling to her knees at his side. "Are you okay?" She said leaning over him. "Are you okay?" She asked again. "No... No, no, no, no, no" She said as Leo's eyes faded closed. She put her ear over his mouth and looked at his chest. Horrified at the lack of oxygen moving through his body. "LEO!" She screamed. "Okay... Okay..." She said placing two fingers on his neck feeling for a pulse. "No." She placed her hands on his chest, beginning compressions.
She placed her mouth on his, giving him his present. The kiss of life.
