A Chance of a Lifetime (Magcon Fanfiction)

Chapter 2

I grabbed my big wooly blanket and lay it over me and Maggie. We started sipping our hot chocolate's and our conversation began .....

"Sooooo, tell me EVERYTHING" I screeched, "Well........ so basically, I don't know if you have heard of Magcon before?",

"No, I'm not familiar with them, all I know is that you are part of their group or something? Oh geez I am such a bad friend" I answered

" YOUR NOT A BAD FREIND! But anyways; basically they are a group of boys, I am the only girl by the way, and we all make vines, and youtube videos, and things like that, so we are basically like Internet stars", "It's actually really good for your image, if you, like, wanna be a pop star, one of the boys already is, you may have heard of him; Shawn Mendes?

" I'LL BE NEEDIN STITCHES!, TRIPPIN OVER MY SELF, 'WOO', ACHING, BEGGING YOU TO COME HELP, BUT I'LL GET ON WITHOUT YOUR KISSES, I'LL BE NEEDIN STITCHES!!!"

"Okay..., so I'm guessing you know him?" she giggled

"Of course, but to be honest, thats the only song of his I know!, but it's totally the best one!"

"Anyways, they do Magcon tours, where they go around the world, and every tour they have a guest star, and this time they are stopping in on Wisconsin, and they wanted your brother as their guest star!"

"Wow!, so I'm guessing this is a big deal for Connor!"

"Yeah! it will be great for him to meet the boys because they are both as famous as each other and if you put them together.... well all I can say is, magic can happen! But that's not all, I kinda, maybe told them about you, and their manager said it would be great to have you help film, and edit the show because this time it will be shown on live TV, to encourage more fans to come and see them?"

"OMAGERD, YOU HAVE GOT TO BE JOKIN?!?!"

"Nope, and there is a little twist...... it's happening tomorrow, and there mayyyy be celebrities checkin out the boys!" she winced

"EEEEEEK, THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH MAGS!!, I'm sure I can get ready by tomorrow ...... right?"

"You are sooooo welcome your gonna rock it, of course you are gonna be prepared! Now I really need to go, because I am rehearsing with the boys tonight, love ya!"

She downed the rest of her hot coco, leaned over and pecked me on the cheek, and left. I sat there, dumbfounded for about half an hour, before I realised that breathing is a good thing. I ran up to my room where I grabbed my iPhone, and quickly dialled my best friends (Carmen, and Summer) numbers into my phone

"999 EMERGENCY SLEEPOVER ASAP, THIS IS A LIFE OR DEATH EMERGENCY GUYS I NEED YOUR HELP!"

I ended the call, and ran downstairs to tell Connor

"How many times do you need to tell me Lex? I got it the 121st time!"

"Sorry, sorry, I just seriously can't contain my excitement right now!!"

"Okay, well I'm just as excited as you are, seriously, we are going to the stars lex, TO THE STARS"

"Yeah I know, gonna sound like a mouth of cheese but I'm so glad I'm doing this with you Con"

"Awwwww, Lexibear!!, don't make me leak !!"

"I'm guessing from your eyes right?!"

"Shut up, and give me a hug" he giggled

I hear the doorbell ring, and pull myself out of the bear hug to get the door.

"GIRLIES!" I scream "We need to get down to business"

After giving them both hugs, grabbing some Doritos and chocolate, we all stormed up stairs to my room. My room is quite big actually. I have silver and black walls (thanks to a gothic stage I went through in my younger youth years), but to be honest you can barely see the walls because i have stuck photographs everywhere! of family friends, screen shots from Connors videos ext. i really have a passion for this. Then i have a double bed in the middle of my room. There is my big white wardrobe in one corner and a matching dressing table that I got for my 13th birthday on the other. Above my dressing table is my big mirror that belonged to my late Grandmother; Nanny Brenda. It is definitely my most prized possession, with little charms surrounding the outside and a lace pattern embedded into the silver metal. I have stuck a picture of my Nanny Brenda in the corner. It is a beautiful picture of her. Her hair is flowing freely round her shoulders, and she is sitting on her favourite garden swinging seat with a massive grin on her face. I love the effect of the picture, it is in a beautiful black and white effect, definitely my favourite picture. I know it sounds weird, but every morning, whilst I'm doing my hair, and makeup, I talk to her, I feel like she is here with me.........

Okay..... moving on from that soppy shiz!

I slowly told Summer and Carmen the news, and I swear, they seemed soooooo much more excited about this than me!

"So when is it?" Summer screamed

" Well, it's actually tomorrow!, I know its not that big of a deal, but guys, maybe good things could happen, Maggie said there is gonna be some important people there, they may want me to help them video and edit their music videos or something?......, I know its stupid but---"

"Are you kidding me Alex? Seriously stop moping about, you are gonna be amazing, of course its a big deal for you, but we can't concentrate on that at the moment because we need to sort out an outfit for you!" Carmen ordered

"Yeah, I mean have you seen these boys, I'm not over reacting, but they are welllllll fit" Summer squealed

"I haven't even had time to think about what I'm wearing! Or what they look like for that matter" I smiled

"Well this going to take a while, so we better get started!" Carmen says

I plugged my phone into my water speakers, and the girls started to shove my whole wardrobe out onto my bed. I swear, i'm trying on my whole wardrobe! Nothing's right for these girls! Its all "no that won't do!", "to dressy", "too layed back!"...........

5 hours later (NO IM NOT BEING DRAMATIC, I MEAN 5 HOURS LATER)

"PERFECT" They both exclaimed

They are actually quite good at this! I looked at myself in the mirror, and I was wearing my red lacy top, with black shorts, that I never knew I had. Along with my maroon (favourite) converse, a black beanie, and a black purse so I could store away my phone, lipgloss and money.

"Wow you guys, what can I say..... thanks!"

"You look so amazing alex!, now get in your PJ's, and lets finish our sleep over, we have barely finished any of our Doritos." Summer exclaimed

For the rest of the night we gossiped about everything on the right side of the planet! Including boys, female fish attracting male fish, (don't ask), pandas, chocolate (of course), and we ended up watching 'The Notebook', with a tub of Nutella and ice-cream , and weeping into pillows! It was so emotional! We told each other how much we loved each other and that we would never leave each other......... yadayadayaaaaaaa

GEEZ WE ARE A BUNCH OF WUSSES! UNTIL TOMORROW........................

----------------------------------------------------- That was chapter 2! It is a little bit longer than Chapter 1, which i hope you can enjoy.
