"But we need to talk. Please." Sam begged. "Okay, fine." "Can you today?" "Um, I guess so." "This afternoon?" "Yeah. I'll text you later to talk about where and at what time, okay?" "Okay, don't hate me, please." "I'll try." I hung up. "What was that all about?" Harry asked right after. "It was Sam. He felt sorry, I guess." "So are you going to clear things out?" I nodded. "Don't worry, Y/N. It's normal to have an argument from time to time." "I know, but he acted horribly." Harry got up to comfort me. He put an arm around me, pulling me into him. "Thanks for everything, Harry. Now that Esha's busy, I don't have anybody to talk to. I'm so thankful for you being here." "Tour's gonna be fun with you around. It'll be good for you. You know, to take your mind off your problems." "Yeah, I'm really looking forward to it." I said into his chest. He caressed my cheek and lifted my chin for me to look at him. "Promise me you'll come to me if you need anything." "Harry, I don't-" "No, Y/N. I'll be here to protect you, even from your fiancé." He chuckled as he said the last words. I rolled my eyes and hugged him, which was the only way I felt was right to say thanks. I felt him breathing in my neck. We pulled apart, looking at each other in the eyes. It happened all to fast. Our faces were millimeters apart. I could feel his lips brushing against mine. Everything seemed to disappear except us, standing there, so close to each other. "Y/N! We're going to..oh." Esha started from the top of the stairs as she turned around and walked back to where she came from. I sighed, glancing at Harry and staring at my feet. He whispered my name. I didn't want to look at him in the eyes. One way or another, this always happened and I couldn't be doing it. As much as I wanted to, I couldn't. The moment I said yes to marrying Sam, I made a commitment. I couldn't go around kissing other people. I was disappointed in myself. What type of person would Harry think I was? Even if I didn't up marrying Sam, why would he even go out with me when I could be kissing another person? This wasn't me. I wasn't like this, but why was I lately? I got the courage to look at him. "I- I'm sorry." I said. Esha and Niall were whispering as they walked downstairs to not interrupt our conversation. Harry and I said nothing. We heard the front door close. We were still silent. And then it happened again. But this time it was much faster. Harry pushed me against the wall, kissing me fiercely. I wrapped my legs around his waist and we hurried upstairs.
