First Day Of Senior Year

BEEP BEEP BEEP! My alarm clock beeped on my bedside table, and I put it on snooze. BEEEEEP BEEEEEP BEEEEEP! I ripped the plug out and threw it against the wall.

"Ugh. 5:00 already?" I said to myself.

I got zero hours of sleep last night, getting last-minutes stuff done so I was prepared for school. This is my least favorite time of year. I have to be ready to get nailed against lockers and people putting "kick me" signs on my back while I'm quietly reading a book in the library. Although, I decided to change my personality, features, and outfits over the summer, so maybe people will actually start to like me. Because the Lillian now- well she definitely wouldn't be reading a stupid book in the library. I grew my brown short hair past my waist. I highlighted parts of my hair. I use contacts instead of glasses, and I got my braces removed, so now my teeth are perfectly straight.

Nobody is awake at 5:00 in the morning in my house except for my dog and I. I quickly ate breakfast and thought about my OLD friends. It was back when I was 9 and they were 8. We were on my friend's trampoline and I was practicing my front tuck. They were helping me get a better bounce for it so I could land it.

               "Ready and 1, 2, 3!" They shouted.

I went in my front tuck, but something went wrong. I did almost a double front tuck, and my arm was bent backwards and broken. I was laying there on the trampoline crying while they were laughing at me. I walked home crying and I was taken to the hospital to get a cast. That was the last time I ever talked to them. My heart was broken. They were the bestest friends I could possibly have until they broke my arm. Although, my friend's mom had to pay the hospital bills, and their trampoline was considered dangerous and was removed from their lawn. They weren't aloud to get a single trampoline on that lawn.

And YOU ask why I was thinking of that? Well, here's a hint. It definitely didn't just pop out of my head. They were knocking at my door.... A SCHOOL MORNING AT 5:05. GEEZ. I was in a nightgown, so I didn't bother answering. They are total jerks and I don't even want to see them, being that my day is already horrible. And that's because of school. I got dressed in a black lace shirt and some gray jeans that were skin tight. I put black eyeliner around my eyes. I already have long natural eyelashes, so I don't apply mascara. I looked back at the door. They were still sitting at my door.

                  I opened the door.

"What the hell do you want from me?" I said in a low tone.

"Uh... We want to see Lilly- to see if she might want to watch a movie at our house and don't go to school. So, can she come? And by the way, you must be Lilly's mother or sister or something, right?" Karina asked.

"It's Lillian, and I'M Lillian. And I'm not coming with you retards. Got it?" I replied.

".... Lillian.... You- you've changed." Gabby said. Their eyes widened.

"Yup, I'm Lillian. Goodbye." I said and slammed the door on their faces.

Well, I just wasted 5 minutes of my getting-ready time on those creeps.         They are just immature, nerdy morons now. And I have actually become a normal person. I have confidence that I could make this senior year the best school year I have ever had. After I finished all of my morning routine stuff, I put on my black fringe boots, grabbed my bag and drove to school.

After 3 minutes of driving...... I parked my car in the school parking lot and walked into school. I looked at the different people around me, scattering in the hallways and realized how much I have changed. But suddenly, a finger tapped me on my shoulder.

"Hey. Are you new to this highschool? I haven't seen you here." A boy asked me and smiled.

"Nope, I have been here since Freshmen year." I replied, with a slight smile back. I don't smile much.

"WOW! I haven't seen you here at all! What's your name? Mine is Jackson." The boy said.

"Um, Lillian. My name isn't often heard around here." I said, with a giggle.

"Funny!! A really nerdy girl named Lillian used to go here, but I haven't seen her yet. You look much better than her!" Jackson said.

"That's uh- cool. I mean weird, but uncool. And uh... Uhhhhh.. What can I say... I'm her." I said with a sigh.

"No you're not! You look nothing like her." He said.

"Well I have changed! It was rough being that-" I said.

"Shush, Hun. You look confused. Listen word by word. You are not HER!" Jackson yelled.

Shiz, what have I done???!!! Ok, play it off cool Lillian!

"Uh, haha!!! I got you!- kinda sorta. Heh." I said, trying to play it cool.

The bell rang as I ran to get to first period.
