Prologue

10 years before the tower of heaven

Lucy POV

"Hi Sara-san" I said as I walk up to the blue headed maid. "Ohayo Mrs. Lucy" she smiled. I smiled back. I love her smile. "JELLAL" I heard someone scream. I look to where it came from and saw a bluenette running my way. "Jellal? What did you do?" Sara-san asked a little worried. "Hi mom and i did nothing" the bluenette said smiling. "Um Sara-san who is this?" I looked at him from head to toe. He looks like a troublemaker I thought. "Oh Mrs.Lucy this is my son Jellal." "Hi I am Lucy Heartfilia" I smiled. "Uh hi I am Jellal Fernandes" Jellal said while looking at me.

Time skip - 8 years before the tower of heaven, still Lucy POV

Jellal and I have become best friends and it has been 2 years since I met him. He comes with his mom and dad and we hang out like climb trees even though my dad hates it when we do. Uh I hate these dresses. Why can't I just wear normal clothes. "AHHHHHH" I heard a scream. "MOM" I run to wear I heard someone scream mom. I see Jellal all burned up and then I see a fire. "Dad no don't" Jellal was crying. "I have to save her, look there is Lucy go to her." Sam said while pointing to me. Then he runs in. I see my mom running towards us and Jellal was walking towards me. "Everything is going to be okay" I say trying to cheer him up. I look at my mom and I couldn't find her. "Mom? , Mom?" I say looking for her. "MISS.LAYLA" I hear the maids scream her name. I look at the fire and see my mom running in. "Mom no you can't leave" she looks at me and smiles then runs into the fire. 10 minutes has passed and no sign of mine or Jellals parents. My dad also ran into it to save my mom. Then some one walks out with 3 people on his back it was Jellals dad. He then falls to the ground. The maids checked each of their pulses but there was no pulse. I burst into tears and fall to my knees. Jellal was comforting me and had tears going down his face.

Time skip- 1 year later

Jellal and I were walking around town and were attacked by these guys with weird masks on. Jellal hid me and than ran. He than got caught and I walked out. "Jellal? Where are you?" I asked looking around.
