Chapter 2: The Burrow

Harry nudges me awake, and point out the front windshield. "Look" he whispers.

The sun was peeking red over the horizon and the car was fling lower and lower.

*"Touchdown!" said Fred as, with a slight bump, we hit the ground. We landed next to a tumble town garage in a small yard, I looked up at the Ron's house.* Who Harry has been telling me about for the past year.

The Burrow I read looking at the high crooked building. The house seemed comfortable and lived in judging by the pile of rubber boots by the door.

"It's not much" said Ron wrinkling his nose

"It's wonderful" Harry replied in awe and I nodded vigorously as I got out of the car.

The boys made a plan as I checked my bag making sure that nothing spilled out in the car ride. When I looked up at the boys ready to see what they decided upon I was met with their ghostly white faces and a short, plump, angry women in the front of them.

"Have you any idea how worried I've been?" The women who I could only assume was Mrs.Weasley whispered

"Sorry, mum, but see, we had to-" the boys all tried to the interrupt yet immediately started cowering as she started yelling

"Beds empty! No note! Car gone -could have crashed - out of my mind with worry - did you care? - never, as long as I've lived- wait untill your father gets home!" She seemed to on for hours until she turned to Harry "I'm verry please to see you dear, come in have some breakfast"

Harry, after glancing nervously grabbed my hand and followed her.

Harry sat down in the cramped kitchen with Ron on one side of him and me on the other. Mrs. Weasley started cooking breakfast and muttering at her boys, "Of course I don't blame you Harry" she setting setting sausages on the table

"But they we starving them mum!" Said George wide eyed

"And you!" She almost yelled before looking very confused "them?"

"That's Harry's sister, Sarah" Fred said matter of factly

"Oh dear me!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed rushing over to give me a hug "You must think me daft but I never realized Harry had a sister!"

At that moment a young red head about my age burst into the kitchen sealed and ran out again.

I cast Ron, Fred and George dirty look as they started warning Harry about Ginny. Fred caught my eye and smirked causing me to roll my eyes.

"Whelp" yawned Fred standing up I'm tired, I'm off to bed"

"Oh no you're not!" Snapped Mrs.Weasley it's your fault you've been up all night. You three are going to de-fnome the garden; they're getting completely out of hand again-"
The boys complained but Mrs.Weasley ignored them turning to me and Harry "you two can go up to bed"

Harry, who was obviously very excited to be away from privet Drive, responded quickly "I'll help Ron. I've never seen a degnomeing before"

"That's very sweet of you dear!" Mrs. Weasley exclaimed

"I'll help too!" I added stifling a yawn

"Nonsense! I'll introduce you to Ginny will be nice for you to know someone in your year before you attend Hogwarts" I nodded as she shooed the boys out side and called for the girl I had seen earlier.

"Sarah this is my daughter Ginny. Ginny this is Harry's Sister Sarah."

"It's a pleasure to meet you" I said reaching out my hand

"Yeah, same" Ginny replied shaking my hand

"Ginny could you show Sarah to your bedroom she's been up all night with Fred and George and that blasted car!" Mrs. Weasley finished angrily

"Of course mum!" Ginny said motioning to the stairs, "right this way."

As soon as we were our of ear shot of her mother Ginny started "so your Harry's sister eh? I never knew he had a sister!"

"Yeah, apparently no one knew I was alive..." I trailed off confused as to why many of these people did know existed

"So tell me what's it like?" Ginny asked sitting on her bed and motioning for me to do the same

"What what's like?"

Ginny rolled her eyes "What being the sister if the Boy Who Lived is like"

"Oh!" I exclaimed happy that Harry had explained the whole Voldemort situation to me so I didn't look like a complete idiot "It's fine" I shrugged "he's like any normal brother"

Ginny looked disappointed "why?" I gasp realization hitting me like like a pile of bricks "you like him don't you!"

Ginny turned bright red "I knew it!!" I yelled falling back on the bed

"Yeah how you feel if the Boy Who lived, only a huge celebrity, was only a year older than you?"

"He is only a year older than me.." I raised an eyebrow at her

"Oh you know what I mean!" She laughed trying to pretend to be annoyed and failing.

I yawned again "Oh! I'll let you get some rest I have chores that I need to do, but I'll come up and get you for lunch!" Ginny replied just remembering her chores "if you wake up just go down into the kitchen"

I smiled, thanking her and crawled into bed falling asleep instantly.

A/N

I know it's really short but I plan on updating alot more. I planning on every week during the summer and hopefully every other during the school year... so yeah what do you think?

Next chapter she is going to get her Hogwarts letter and of course the Diagon Ally trip! I've very excited for the next chapter... is it that obvious?

Anyway, just a little heads up, two things actually 1. I do most of this story on my phone so there will probably be some weird formatting and 2. I'm American so alot of the slang will probably be American but I'll try to keep it to what's in the book just to help it flow better. But like I said before I'm American so that might be a little hard... and yeah!
