Scarlette
It was your typical morning. Wake up dead, make some coffee while staying dead, not talking to anyone until my coffee was gone and I wasn't dead, and then I got dressed and left for my classes. My bag full of books sagged sadly on the side of my shoulder as it only had a good week left of it before it snaps in half. My brown booties only making the blisters on my feet 1,000 times worse than they were from the night before. But I didn't mind.
Walking down the streets of the Upper East side were always filled with beautiful townhouses and G-classes lined up one by one in the tightest squeeze that you couldn't even imagine. But for me, those apartments were dreams and those cars were unrealistic as I was living off of student loans. Making my was out of this luxurious neighborhood, I soon made my way through the streets that were almost too farmiliar for me to recall. Soon my only hell that I ever knew came into my sight and I tried to look away as it was blinding me with it's proper ugliness.
It was just like any other day, except a tiny bit different. The temperature had changed which was odd for the early weeks of september I didn't mind it though, as I was always one for the coolness of winter. The wind carelessly whisped my hair across my face as I held onto my floppy hat in fear that it would fly off and into the pits of this city, also known as the sewage system.
Nearing the large double doors that made me want to vomit, I took my hand off of my head go push through these gigantic things, I finally made my way in. Pushing these doors open to my stupid private school that my stupid parents made me go to makes me wonder why I am even here and make me want to jump out the window screaming in french. But that isn't even the worst part. The women dress like they don't know what the word 'style' is and for the men, you get the jist, suits and slacks it is just tragic. Thats right ladies, you guessed it! All of the men are totally hot here! HAH LIES! By the way, the rolling of the sleeves will only turn you off even more than you were before. This place smells like cheese and the only good thing coming out of this was my education. But I didn't mind, afterall, this will tell me where I need to go in life.
Walking into class I heard Mr. Harris call out, "Hello Scarlette, nice for you to be joining us on this fine day. Please take a seat, we were just about to start." I simply winced and made my way over to Charlie, a nice boy with that brown curly hair that looks like silk and green eyes that could be mistaken for the Caribbean Sea and sat down. Charlie murmured a subtle Hello as I returned the greeting, getting out my notebook and preparing for another day of boring gibberish.
Class went on and I took my notes as well as not paying attention as this professor was not hot at all! Like dude, you would think that college has all of these hot professors but guess what?!? These bitches lied and you're screwed over with some nasty old man who can't wear some cologne for his life. But on the other hand, some of the men attending the school look like they came out of the GQ man of the year magazine, if there was like 20.
Mr. Harris finished up the lecture with a "Class dismissed" which surely snapped me out of my daze and snapped me right back into life. I walked out of class with my books in hand tugging on my bag of books when I heard a small snap and then the large ripping of material as well as all of the weight being lifted off of my shoulders. Literally.
"God fucking damnit motherfucking hell shit di-" i looked up to see a boy with green eyes that could be mistaken for emeralds and brown flowy hair that looked softer than silk. And his fave in general, so nice, so clean. "Woah, you all good?" He asked me pulling me out of my trance of admiration and me being me, I simply stated back "No I've got it. Thanks for the help" trying to be thr tough girl and all, as he continued to talk "I'm Edward, by the way." He said after my response which was a total idiot move because he smirked while getting up and leaving the area with me behind. And 10 pounds worth of books, todays walk home will not be fun.
