Neverending Maze

Finally someone

I feel so alone. So dark. So gloomy. I was taken away in my sleep last night.

Where am I? Where are my friends? Where is my family?

I am so scared. I miss my friends and family. Where is my puppy Road Runner?

"Road Runner here boy. Where are you?" I yelled hopelessly. I wish I had someone or something with me, but all I have is me and my clothes. I wish that my boyfriend Louis was here. He could comfort and protect me.

This is all so strange. My friends and I were all having a sleepover at my house and now they are gone. All of them Lexi, Talia, Alexis, Maria, Zayn, and Louis. They were all with me a second ago, it seems like. But I was asleep so I guess it could be longer. I just wish they were here. It is really cold here, wherever here is. I only have on a plain white tee shirt and jeans. But it is not like my friends could help much with that. Then out of no where I heard a familiar voice call out breaking me out of my thoughts.

"Hello is anyone there? Where am I?" Oh my gosh it is Zayn!

I quickly retort, "Yes Zayn. It's me Emily! Make a lot of noise so I can find you!" Knowing Zayn he is probably going to yell or scream.

I was right a few seconds later Zayn was screaming," Ahh..." He had to hold it a really long time. It was extremely difficult because where ever we were it echoed a lot. I finally found Zayn after what felt like an hour or two. When I got to him we heard someone scream.

We quickly ran to the scream, but when we got there it was only a tape recorder. I turned to Zayn and explained, " The scream had to come from somewhere."

Zayn questioned, " Yeah I know but who?"

I answered, "It has to be human. Thats for sure, also I do not want to be it's next victim."

Zayn quickly nodded and said, " Well with that we better get going."

We were walking around for a while in silence when we saw a little white shape in the distance. I ran to it as fast as I could with Zain not to far behind. When I got to it I screamed at Zayn," Zayn come quick it's Road Runner! He's hurt!" Zayn came as quick as he could, and because Road Runner was just a puppy he decided that he would just carry him.

Even though Zayn and Road Runner were with me I still feel alone. Zayn and I are not in the best friendship ever, mostly because he told Louis to break up with me and go out with Talia. But for some reason, I feel protected with him here, I feel like nothing could ever hurt me. What am I thinking I need Louis then everything would be wonderful. You know what maybe I am over thinking things.

"Emily.... Em... Emily?" Why was Zayn saying my name?

"What Zayn?..... Zayn?... Zayn?" I asked. Great just great. Everything just took a turn for the worst.
