~ Flashback~

" I made it! I actually made it!" Niall shouted as he hugged me. I squeezed him tight as all his family joined the hug.

" Well done, Ni! You did great!" I whispered as I pulled away from the hug.

" And Li, If I can do this. You can start your singing career too!" He smiled.

My best friend did it. He made it where I would never have the nerve to go. The X-Factor auditions. But that's when it all changed.

~ Flashback Over ~

( 3 years later)

" Come on, Li! We're gonna miss it!" my best friend, Rosabella , called from the kitchen. I ran in, wearing a pink tank top and denim shorts, and sat next to her.

" Ok, Bells. This is the one chance we have at doing this. We have to do it right!" I stated and clicked the button to watch the Twitchcam. Niall's face popped up on the computer screen. He greeted all the fans and told us to ask him questions.

" Shall I ask?" I said, looking at Bella worriedly. She nodded and put her hand on my shoulder. I began to type.

@LiaLuvzLife Where were you exactly 3 years ago now?

I knew the answer straight away. He was at my house, playing his guitar as I sang my heart out to How To Save A Life by The Fray. I sent the message and waited silently.

" Ok. Here's one. Where were you exactly 3 years ago now? Um.. I was with my best..... Next question!" He said. I hung my mouth open wide. Belle hugged me and I put my head in my hands. He just forgot about me.

He took one more question and said he had to go. I knew he was lying. He ended the Twitchcam and I rushed to my phone.

" Whatcha' doing?" Rosie asked, a bit puzzled.

" I know he is going to call me. I just know it, Belle!" I shouted, waving my phone. She shrugged and sat beside me. We waited and waited and waited. Suddenly, Payphone by Maroon 5 blasted out of my phone. My ringtone for Ni! We squealed and jumped for a moment. Then I answered the phone.

~ Phone Convo - L = Lia N = Niall ~

L - Hello?

N - Hey... It's Niall. I am so sorry for the last 3 years. I was so busy and I kinda forgot about you but I am so sorry for that and I want to make it up to you. Will you forgive me, Li?

L - Sure Ni. You should really come back to Ireland some time to visit us!

N - Well actually.....

L - Well actually what?

N - Me and the lads are coming tomorrow! Just in time for you birthday too! Meet at the cafe?

L - That'd be great! See ya then!

N - Later Skater!

~ End of Phone Convo ~

Bella and I both squealed and ran to the my room. My room has teal walls and glittering purple spirals in the corners. I had a huge pillow stuffed bed and a walk in closet the size of the living room.

Ok. I know what you're thinking, 'This girl is soo rich!' Yes, I am rich but I'm not a snob like other rich people. Anyways, We went up to my room and sat on the window seat.

" I'm so excited but..." I said.

" But what? There is only one but!" Bella stood up.

" What to wear?" We both said in unison. We raced to the closet and started to search.

As we were searching, I thought. Have I changed? Well, I started wearing glasses about a year ago. They look good on me, my mum says. And I started dancing and now I can play the guitar as well as the piano. But I'm still the same fun loving, singing fanatic Lia. Right?

*Niall's POV*

Yes! I got her back! My fun loving smily best friend, Lia! What if I've changed? What if she's changed? What if she doesn't like the new me? What if she doesn't like the lads? I'll take my chances...

The lads and I packed our things and settled down to relax in the living room. We watched TV for a few hours then headed upstairs to bed. I prayed that Lia would like me and then fell asleep.

* Lia's POV *

I woke up and jumped out of bed. Today I'm going to see Niall and the boys! I ran to the bathroom and had a shower. After my amazing shower, I changed into light blue denim t-shirt, dark blue leggings and brown leather boots. I put on my necklace that said 'Lia' on it with a heart that dotted the 'i'. I finally put on my black hollow glasses and grabbed my Iphone 5.

I rushed down the stairs and into the dining room to see my little twin brothers, Danny and Jake, sitting at the table alongside Mum and Dad. I sat down next to Jake and ate the baguette Mum made me.

" Where you off to?" Mum asked once I'd finished.

" Cafe to meet Niall!" I said. Mum told me that her and Dad was going out with Danny and Jake so I had the house to myself. I cheered and got my bag.

" See ya guys!" I shouted and ran out of the door. I walked to the cafe and sat down. What if he doesn't like me? I have changed a bit... Suddenly, Niall walked in the door with the rest of One Direction. He looked around and I waved at her shyly. He looked a bit surprised but then he ran over to me and we hugged.

" Hey Nialler!" I said.

" Lia! I've missed you SO much!!" He smiled.

" Me too, Ni!" I said and the boys stepped forward. " Lemme guess...Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne and Louis of The Tomlinsons..." I said, pointing at each one of the boys. They looked at me and I just smiled.

" Someone's a directioner!" Zayn announced.

" I dabble.." I said, folding my arms. " We can go to mine if you want. Don't worry, It's just around the corner. Shall I call Rosie?" I suggested.

" Rosie? Yeah! I haven't seen her in ages!" Niall said delighted and we all walked to the house.
