For the first time in her life she stared straight into his smile. She didn't blush and turn away , she didn't kiss him , she just stared. She wondered where all the love had gone , if it had been there in the first place.
His smile stayed in place but his eyes grew confused. "Why are you staring at me" he asked.
She opened her mouth slightly to say something , only no sound came out. Then , all at once , she burst into tears.
