I stepped off the plane taking in my surroundings again. My hands felt sweaty as they gripped my suitcases. I can't believe I'm doing this.

I must be dumb as hell to come all the back to Cali where my troubles are. I was supposed to leave and never look back but I couldn't because of Ciara.

I love her way too much to even think of not coming back for her. When she called me saying she was in jail I didn't know what to think or do. She isn't the type to get in trouble at an airport, if anything I would be the one in that situation.

"Here goes nothing..." I told myself I walked through the airport closer and closer to the exit. The closer I got the more nervous I became. I got to be crazy as hell, no one in their right mind would go towards their problems.

The sun hit me, shining down in my face once I left out the airport. I had no car so that left me with catching the bus to a nearby hotel.

The whole bus ride I worried about accidentally running into Chris. He's dangerous and could be watching me this very moment. I just don't feel safe here and as soon as I get Ciara, I'm going back.

As if on que my phone rang and the same jail number Ciara called my phone with last time popped up on my screen. I smiled happily sliding the green icon putting the phone to my ear.

"Hey!" I was too excited to talk to her. I miss her a lot.

"Hey Nika. How everything going with the bail?" I chuckled.

"Well I miss you too. But I just made it back to Cali and now I'm waiting for this bus to come." She giggled onto the phone causing me to smile even harder.

"I'm sorry, I miss you too babe. I'm just ready to leave this hell hole. I wanna see you."

"I miss you too Ci. Its been painful living without you."

I stared out of the window, I began to drift away while Ciara was talking.

"Yea baby. That's n-" I stopped in mid-sentence after seeing the scariest view of my life. Suddenly, everything was in slow motion. There he was, sitting there. He was petting a large pitbull, he was wearing a top hat, covering his eyes but I knew he could see me.

"Baby what's wrong?"

"Um nothing. I just..I just got dropped off in front of the hotel. Can you call back later?"

"Uh yea I guess. I love you." She said with a hint of dispair in her voice.

"Love you too." I hung up and gulped as everything sped up again. I sat my phone in my lap and my head on the window.

I hope I don't regret doing this.
