...And there they were. The two staring at each other, swords drawn. Cloud Strife and Lightning, two former soldiers. They realize they are not enemies. "You seem nothing like me," says Cloud. "I see it," says Lightning. A large boom is heard. Cloud and Lightning run to a cliff edge and see a giant man-eating worm. It was tearing a town apart. A rocket hits the worm in the face and it falls back underground. Cloud and Lightning run as fast as they can to the town. People are screaming, soon running. "Tri-Corps coming through," said a soldier. "So thats what they're called," said Lightning. Three men are walking towards the two heroes, the one in the middle being superior. They all had guns. "Get out of our way," said the big man. "Why are you here?" said Cloud. "To find the Power Orb of District 3. Tri-Corps will soon run all the three districts," said the man. "Now get out of my way or I will crush you." Just then, Cloud at almost super sonic speed, dashes forward and elbows the man in the face, sending him to the ground. Before the other two soldiers could aim their gun, Lightning dashes forward behind them and holds a blade to their throats. "We have been sent to stop you. You will not destroy this nice place," said Cloud. "Tri-Corps will fall." Lightning slashes the soldier's throats. The big man gets up in shock. "Who..are you guys?" "Lightning." "Cloud." "You guys wont get away with this," said the man. "Heard it before," said Cloud. He holds up his sword and slashes down clean through the man. Suddenly, a weird vortex appears in the sky. "Oh no.." said Cloud. "What?" said Lightning. "Sephiroth," says Cloud. "Who?" says Lightning. "An old enemy, someone who almost took over my town and killed me," said Cloud. BOOOM! "Hahahahaaaa!"
