NOELLE ON THE SIDE(;
"Whore." Bridgit mouths
to me from her desk in front of me. She turned back around paying attention, or at least faking attention to Mr. Cafed, her blonde hair whipping with her head movement. How I wanted to grab that hair and yank her head backwards, snapping her head off, then throw it at Mr. Cafed for being so confusing, then stabbing her 3 times in the chest..
"Noelle? Noelle I asked you a question." Mr Cafed snapped me out of my wonderful dream. He looked at me over his spectacles frowning. Which did not do him any good, his wrinkles showed even more.
"Uhh, what was the question again?" I asked, some of the class snickered. I looked over to Ellie shook her head as if saying 'Ignore them'.
"I asked, which country is southeast of Australia?" He made his frown bigger, if that was even possible, again- not doing him any good. I just wanted to poke those wrinkles with a pencil. They looked cool. Like layers of sand.
"New Zealand." I answered after imagining me poking his wrinkles with a pencil.
"Good, very good.." He walked to the other side of the room, "Now Josh.." I zoned out, focusing back on the sketch I was making on the margines of my notebook.
I was drawing a caterpillar, each part of him had a letter which spelled out 'Help Me'. Let's just say i'm not a fan of Social Studies. I shaded him in with my pencil, giving him a shadow effect. Now a name... Then the bell rang. Oh well Mr. Caterpillar i'll name you later.
I quickly gathered my stuff, and waited by the door for Ellie, like I always did. Once she joined me with full arms of books we headed the the 12th grade locker halls. The halls empty out quickly before Lunch, y'know about 500 high schoolers want lunch, they get there pretty early. We stopped at Ellie's first.
"So what did you daydream of today about Bridgit?" She asked me. I always dream about killing Bridgit or hurting her.
"I dreamed about ripping her head of and stabbing her." I smiled sweetly at Ellie as she closed her locker. She patted my head.
"You weirdo." She joked, grinning at me. We both don't like Bridgit. She's just so fake. Ugh.
Next we stopped at my locker. I said my combo in my head, 15, 45, 23. I opened it to be greeted with a mess of papers, binders, and pens forgot about. I piled whatever I had in my ams on top of the locker monster. "Wow Noelle, you gotta clean out you're locker soon. It's worse then last years." She laughed.
"Nooo, last year it had moldy milk in it. Do you see a modly milk carton anywhere?" I pointed out, pouting.
"I don't know... I can't even see the back of your locker." She retorted, smiling. She was dissapointed in me, but didnt let it show. I promised this year I would keep my locker clean, or at least halfway clean. But we both knew that was a promise I would break.
"Can we go now before all the good seats are taken?" I whined at Ellie. She was still inspecting my locker, seeing if she could find the back of it.
"Fine, but we are not finished talking about that mess." She closed my locker and started to walk towards the cafeteria. I ran to catch up to her.
Once we were in the Cafeeteria we quickly located our main table. Tristan saved a seat next to him and one on the other side of that. He knew we were coming, we were just always late. We quickly claimed out seats making sure any jocks didnt get them. I got the one next to Tristan of course and Ellie besides me.
"Hey Tris." I grinned at him. He always made my day better.
"Hey Elbear and Elliebear." He gave a slight wave, along with a toothy smile. He flipped his hair out of his eyes. I quickly fawned over him then stopped before he noticed. Although bridgit noticed, she always noticed. She grabbed Tristan's arm and leaned her head on hsi shoulder smirking at me.
I slightly shrugged in her direction showing I didnt care. But I did care. When her attention was diverted I burned holes in her head. Whore.
~~
"Hey Noelle, wanna come to my house?" Tristan rocked on his heels back and forth waiting for my answer.
"Aren't you busy with, B?" I cocked my head to the side. I only call her B, because he thinks its my nickname for Bridgit, which it kind of is, but instead of Bridgit the B stands for Bitch.
"Nopee. She's going to the mall with friends or something.. We can play Left For Dead 2 if you want?" He winked starting to walk across the smy lawn to his house.
"Okay i'm in." I grinned. Tristan knew how to get my attention. "Lemme tell my mom." I quickly ran in my house yelling "MOM I'M AT TRISTAN'S KAY BYE LOVE YOU!" I waited for her repsonse.
'NO GLOVE NO LOVE, CHILD!" She yelled back. My face burned.
"MA!" I yelled embaressed, what if Tristan heard?
"IT'S THE TRUTH! BUT BYE HAVE FUN LOVE YOU LOVE YOU!" Her sweet voice yelled back. After that I excited our one story home, quickly walked across the lawn, and into Tristan's house.
I didn't even bother knocking anymore. His Dad got annoyed everytime it was me, I was like a daughter to him. He had 3 sons. Colin, the eldest, then Tristan, the Stevie who is only 5. His mom was never home. She worked 2 jobs to keep her busy, while his Dad was a stay at home Dad.
I walked upstairs, knocking on Tristan's door once then entering. He was pulling a shirt over his head. Phew, did I get a sight. SIX PACK BABY. I'm sorry for that. "I already got the popcorn made." He automatically said. I always have popcorn when i'm over. It's like a unanounced tradition.
"Yay." I sat down in front of his TV, turning the X-box on, and sitting back in the light blue beanbag. I grabbed one of the controllers that was sitting by the beanbags and set up L4D2. Tristan joined me, sitting in the dark blue beanbag, grabbing a remote.
"Ready to be beaten?" He grinned.
'Cocky are we? In your dreams." I scoffed.
"Nope. I've been practicing." He popped the 'p' on 'Nope'.
"Practice isn't enough for oyu, you need luck." I winked.
"We'll see. Let the games begin."
~~A hour later~~
"GOD HOW DO YOU ALWAYS BEAT ME." He threw his controller at the wall.
"I'm just that good." I laughed.
"YOU KNOW WHAT? I AM GOING TO GO TO MCDONALD'S. BY MYSELF AND GET A BIG MAC. WITH FRIES. AND A OREO MCFLURRY HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THAT?" He yelled.
Oh lord. He knows that's my favorite from McDonald's. "Well I feel like i should go sneak in your car so I can come with." I grinned and jumped up, running out the door.
"NOT IF I GET THERE FIRST." He jumped up tackling me. But he missed.
"Haha missed me." I turned around sticking my tongue out at him laying on the ground.
He smiled sheepishly. "Well I'll get McDonald's for the bost of us then." He got up, picking me up bridal style and carrying me to his car.
"I can walk you know." I crossed my arms looking up at him.
"I know." He winked. I hoped he didnt see me blush.
