I entered the gym with Ariel and saw that there were a lot of people here. We moved through the crowd gym looking for the Basketball team so we could sit with them. The only reason I sit with them is because, I don't get along with most of the girls in our school. I found where the team was sitting and made my way other towards them making sure I drag Ariel with me. We get to the bleachers where they're at and I take a seat next to Luke and Ariel sits next to me. Lukey puts his arm around me in a best friend way. The gym is really loud until the principal gets the microphone and practically tells everyone to shut up so he can announce the Raffle winners... Well he doesn't tell everybody to shut up he tells them to be quite so he can announce the Raffle winners... Same thing! The whole gym falls silent. The principal gets out an envelop and starts reading it. "And the winner for the Golden State Winner is....Morgan Johnson!!!!" My heart fell out of my chest from disappointment but I quickly put on a fake smile so know one saw how disappointed I was. Morgan was one of my teammates which meant he was sitting with us. I turned to congratulate him and be mature about the situation seeing I'm captain and all. Morgan was still in a state of shock. He finally realized he won and ran down the stairs and onto the stage where they were waiting for him. Everyone got quite again and waiting for the other Raffle Winner to be announced. I zoned out for a while and in the background I heard "Welcome the Magcon Crew!!!" Almost every girl in the gym started screaming and throwing themselves to the new people who arrived on stage but that was mainly the sluts in our school. I was still zoned out until I heard my name,"And... The winner is our Lovely basketball team captain Avery Allen's!!!" I was snapped out of my zoned state when I felt all eyes on me.
