"Amen.." Luke said as his eyes opened and he slowly began to get up off his knees .
At this moment it seemed like the memories of all that he had been through shot through his mind in an instant.he saw the hurt and pain . he remembered every wonderfully amazing moment that used to make him smile when he would look back on them . he also thought of those not so wonderful moment the ones that used to haunt him and every moment in between .then all of his hopes and all his dreams flashed by him .Luke saw his whole life play before him like a movie played at the speed of light . it moved so fast he didn't have time enough to truly comprehend it . then luke remembered his death..the memory rushed by so quickly.
It had all led up to this moment ..
the moment had finally arrived. it was time for him to throw all his fears , worries , and doubts away . it was time for luke to take the leap of Faith. Standing here at the top of this building luke knew it was what he had to do .
He had passed by this building so many times with his mom , dad ,sister Aubrey , and his best friend john . He remembered looking up at the top of this building on the way to the doctor's office when his dad got sick .
now looking back it all felt like a lifetime ago and honestly it had been . luke pushed the thoughts away .he knew that he couldn't think about that right now . it was time to do what he came here to do .he began to walk forward quickening his pace with every footstep .his walking quickly became running .then with a deep breath in he quickly jumped off the building
as his feet hit the building's edge .
Now free falling luke watched as the cars on the road below quickly began to show there true size . Luke faced forward towards the ground .now only thirty feet above the ground luke faced the road below . suddenly two bright blue wings protruded from his back as he breathed out . the wing almost shimmered in the light as he began to fly quickly up into the air then with one more look down at the ground below him luke smiled flew up into the clouds . looking at the clouds as he flew past them he knew were he had to go and what he had to do it was time to go home ...
