I followed the singing to a large table that sat under a tree outside of a house. Hatter was sitting at the end, to his left was a woman. Old like him, hair grey yet waxy and dressed in a blue dress. To his right was an empty seat than next to the seat was a guy in his late forties. He wore two fake, brown rabbit ears.

Hatter rushed to me, bringing me into a hug before pushing me into the empty seat to his right.

The woman smiles at me.

"Hello Riley. I'm Alice." she said. "That is March Hare."

"Alice doesn't she look so much like her mother?" asked Hatter

"Why is a raven like a writing desk?" asked Hatter out of the blue

Hatter and Alice looked at me.

"Many people have wonder and many have found answers." I said with a smile. "Like Poe wrote on both or because it can produce a few notes, though they are very flat and it is never put with the wrong end in front but there is no answer."

All three looked at me.

"What?" I asked Hatter smiled. "You have passed the first test. You must pass tests before you reach the red queen."

"Tests?" I asked

"By the time you reach this queen you would have become the true Queen of Hearts." said Alice. "I believe in you. I see into your heart."

I got up and kissed Hatter and Alice on the cheeks. I held out my hand to the March Hare. He shook it.

"Your next test is with Caterpillar." said Hatter

"Twinkle, twinkle little bat!" sang March Hare

"How I wonder where you're at!" sang Alice

"Up above the world you fly!" sang Hatter

I walked away laughing as I too hummed the song to myself. Dad use to sing it too me.
