"Oh fuck! Oh holy fucking shit! I just killed my boss! I'm gonna go to jail! I'm gonna be killed there! I can't go to fucking jail!" Panting, I tried to calm my breathing as to not pass out. "Get a grip girl!" I yelled at myself. "Oh shit! I'm talking to myself! It's official. I'm crazy." The walls were moving around me coming in and out of focus.
A sudden pain spread across my cheek as I slapped myself. "Holy Motherfucking Shit! That hurt more than expected!" Shaking my head, I focused on my now still boss. Wait... Did he just twitch? Is he alive! Oh mama! I'm not going to jail! I jumped up on the desk in ecstasy. A sudden moan quieted my early celebration. Oh wait. He's still sick. I should get out of here...
Looking around the room, I mapped my way out in my head. Now let's see. I could climb over the cubicle wall and make my way out from there. Yeah, that'll work! Plus, I've always wanted to climb over these freaking walls!
Glancing back one last time at my still twitching boss, I carefully lifted my foot and crept over the gray wall that separated the small cubicles. Another moan made my head whip back to Mr. D. Putting my foot down on my coworkers desk proved to be a mistake because I accidentally stepped on a stapler. The sudden loss of support wrangled a scream from my lips.
My airborne body hit the corner of the desk and I landed in a heap on the floor gasping for breath. Pain radiated across my body as I struggled to cope with the lack of air. I still couldn't breathe! My lips were opening and closing and my body was moving but my lungs were not working. The pain was spreading from the outside of my body to the inside as my body started working overtime to keep me alive.
A snarl brought my eyes to the direction of my cubicle and I saw my boss looking wildly around. His once yellowish eyes were now a pale white. They couldn't seem to focus on anything and he paid no attention to my tormented body. A silent gasp finally filled my lungs with much needed air and the pain renewed with a force. The pain was so great that my back arched off the ground in an attempt to deal with it. My head pounded as did my heart. The gasps were coming out harder and louder now as my body fought to regulate itself.
Looking back at my snarling boss, I saw him straining to reach my gasping form. Fear pierced through me as I noticed his gnashing teeth and his claw-like hands. He wants to kill me. Something happened to him, and now he wants to kill me.
Still gasping for breath, now with panic more than necessity, I whimpered out a small plea.
"Help me."
