Chapter 11

We pulled up to a giant, orange colored hotel with valet parking. When we pulled up there were men in suits with gold cuff buttons and what looked like captain hats. They opened the passenger door and escorted me and Tracy to the lobby, followed by our bags of new merchandise. The lady at the front desk was talking on the phone when we walked up to the counter. She looked up and greeted us with a warm smile then jumped in her seat a little because she almost forgot to give us our key. Tracy looked behind her and stared down one of the men that were standing outside. She nodded her head at our bags and we began walking towards the elevator. One of the men quickly grabbed our bags and followed as the elevator opened. Tracy scooted aside to give him space and pushed the 3rd floor button. The man was looking around and I stared at him as he did so. Something wasn't right about him. And I needed to tell Tracy. The ding of the elevator went off and we walked down a long hallway with green and gold designs on the carpet. Above were chandeliers and angels. I gazed up at them and suddenly found myself tumbling towards the floor. I had tripped....over the mans foot. He looked back at me and walked fast towards Tracy. He silently dropped the bags as he walked. "TRACY BEHIND YOU!" I screamed as he put his hands around the back of her neck. She whipped her leg around and knocked him over taking her with him. They struggled, Tracy may not be strong but she surely was prepared and trained. The man threw random punches only to be blocked or twisted by Tracy. She finally got his head between her hands and snapped it in less than a second. "This place isn't safe anymore." She spoke tirelessly and walked towards the stairs. "Grab your bags we're leaving." I sighed as I obeyed her commands. I'm tired, I don't think I can take anymore of this UJL stuff.
