Chapter 4

I stood there looking like a fool they didn't even know that I was there.
Dylan came in " Hey Jess! Mrs Grant told me to loo...." he saw the both of them and they both turned when they heard his voice.

Nobody made a sound guess Dylan was as disappointed as I was !!

We all looked at each other ,I decided to break the silence seeing that no one wanted to talk.

" Um... Lesley... Mrs Grant told me to look for you since. ..um you were not in class."

Lesley did not reply guess she also felt awkward at that moment., she looked
at Dylan and turned back to Jason .

" See you around!" she looked at Dylan again and kissed Jason. I think she was trying to make Dylan jealous

She walked out and Jason followed .Dylan stared at the empty walls , and walked out ,I followed him not wanting to be left behind .

" Are you okay?"

" I'm fine!" he muttered under his his breath

" Sure?!"

" Yeah !" he breathed a laugh

We walked back to the classroom in total silence ,this must be really hard for him

right now , we slipped back Into our seats and I looked at Dylan he wasn't really

concentrating then I looked back at Lesley she also tried to avoid us.

If you ask me this was a very awkward moment between both of them ,I just have to be very careful.

Mum had left at around that six PM she was really in a hurry she was going by air.

I didn't really plan for anything just the food I got Orange and lemon squash,

Mountain dew, I got to know it was Dylan's favourite , he almost got addicted.

I was going to order pizza and make some popcorn but the girls said they got it covered.

I heard the door bell guess it's the guys. I opened the door and Annie whispered quietly
" Is she gone?"

" Don't worry I already told her" I smiled back then a party popper hit my face, the guys came in .

" The boys they were gonna be running in a little but they would be here soon."
Annie brought a whole bag of supplies which looked really heavy, we walked to the living room I had pushed all the furniture away put some scary posters and designs I had made myself. I only left two couches in the middle.
" Um, which way to your room? " Annie asked, " We need to give ourselves a makeover, at least before the boys arrive."
We all went upstairs to my room, " Oh my God! Jess your room is amazing!" Jean hissed.
'I love the lilac walls ' Annie added.
They both sat down on my bed " I painted it myself"
They looked at each other with a surprised expression on their face.
"Where did you learn to paint so good?" Anne asked as she walked around the room looking amazed." It's is so perfect and unique! "
She sat back on the bed and looked at Jean, as if expecting her to say something.
" Where is your make up kit?!" Jean sparked . I grinned and hit a button on the wall , my drawers flew open and spreading out different colors of eye liners, lipsticks, mascaras and every other thing you could think of.
Jean and Annie opened their mouths and Anne fakes a pretend faint.
They both rush to the kit and pick out some colors.
" Let's give Jessie here a little makeover!"
"I agree" Annie added " Dylan is going to love this!"
Before I could say a word, they pushed me to the chair and did some magic on my face _ I mean, I'm still not sure if it is good.
