The next day at school, I sat in my classes, still freaked out about what happened the night before. Was someone trying to scare me,were they pulling a prank? Those were the questions that were on my mind for the entire day. I tried not to think about it,but I couldn't, and trust me, I was. After school I stopped at my locker to get my bag and the books I needed for the homework I had to do later. Once I did that, I walked over to the gym where I had my swim meet. (BTW, I'm on the swim team), anyways, I was on my way to the swim meet, when one of the basketball players stopped in the hallway. Before I started going out with Trevor, I had a crush on Jared. I've had a crush on him since I was in grade 9, but he was already in a relationship. Any who, Jared stopped me and wanted to speak with me, so I stopped and let him talk to me. " Hey Sarah, I heard that you and Trevor are over, so I was wondering, would like to hang out with me on Saturday "? I stood there for a second, trying to think of a response. As soon as I thought of one, I immediately said yes. He gave me his number and we went our separate ways. When he left, I squealed a little bit because I was ecstatic about Saturday. I continued down the hallway when I bumped into Trevor. He looked up and saw that I had bumped into him and gave me a disgusted look. " look who decided to come back". I shrunk a little bit inside because I knew he was hurt and he hadn't gotten over the breakup, but come on. It happend 4 months ago, move on already. He asked me where I was going, so I told him I was on my way to a swim meet. " I saw you talking to Jared, and I heard he asked you out on Saturday".
"Yeah he did, but it's not a date, we're just hanging out". He turned to go, but before he left, he glared at me and went down the hall. I thought to myself, " Jealous much"?
