Crystal's POV:
I walk through the forest carrying a small basket filled with rawst berries. They even had different colored icings on them. These are my favorite things to eat from the Pokéberry store. As I walk home I don't see a lot of Pokemon around. I was starting to worry that something was wrong. Then I realized something. I gasped as the thought poured into my mind. "It's the killing month!" I say aloud by accident. I regret that I said anything as soon as I said it. I quickly run and after I run about 20 feet a Mightyena steps right in front of me.
"What are you doing out here in killing month? Here, let me eat you so we can just get this over with." The Mightyena said. He showed his fangs and launched at me.
Quickly I run. Looking behind me I run into a Palpitoad. The Palpitoad walks towards me and I slowly step back, knowing my fate isn't going to end well. Behind me my tail touches the Mightyena from before.
"This is my meal! I saw her first!" The Mightyena barks at the Palpitoad. The Palpitoad fights back and says, "Well too bad! I get her!"
They continue to argue and without either of them noticing I run away. I then look for the basket and pick it up when I find it. When I look up I see a Staraptor circling me. I get mad and run away. Before I even get that far a distance it uses air slash and I'm sent flying. I land on the ground and hear a crack sound. My front paw had broke! The basket fell out of my mouth and the berries fall everywhere. The Staraptor lands and starts to walk toward me. I try to stand up, but I'm too weak.
"It's over." The Staraptor says.
I lose all hope as my eyes gently start to close...
