i was walking down the street at night. i just got off of work. as i was walking i heard rustling in the bushes nearby. i turned and gasped. standing in front of me just a few feet away, was a wolf. i stumbled back nearly tripped. the wolf was big and grey. he stood there for a few seconds then lunged. he knocked me on my back. knocking the wind from my lungs. he stood over me, his muzzle was inches from my neck. his hot breath chilled me to the very marrow in my bones. then, he bit me. instead of biting my neck he bit down on my shoulder. i screamed in agony and tears spilled from my eyes. i tried to push him off of me but he was too strong, and my strength was ebbing. my screams grew weak. then the wolf let go. my eyes drooped as i stared up at him. his amber eyes stared deep into my blue ones. like he culd see my sould through them. he jumped off of me and ran off. i lay in a pool of my own blood. my eyes closed as i started to give up.
"miss?! miss are you ok?! of course you're not ok! you're lying in your own blood! gah!" someone yelled. it was a boy, or well man. he was only a few years older than me as i stared at him. he lifted me up and i cried out in pain. he sighed. "what hapened to you?" i stared at him in emense pain.
"w-wolf attack..." i whispered. he gasped and ran me to his car.
"i'm taking you to the hospital!" he said and began driving. he kept talking to me but i wasnt paying attention anymore. his voice grew farthur and farthur away as darkness over came me. the last thing i heard before i passed out was:
"you'll be ok. everything will be ok." and then there was nothing......
i woke up hours later, to a hospital. i lay in the bed with tubes attached to my arms. i looked over to my side and blinked. beside me was the man from last night. now that i saw in the light i got a good look at him. he had messy blonde hair that looked really soft. i couldnt see his eyes though because he was asleep. his lips were full and smooth. and his eyebrows. i nearly laughed out loud. they were big and bushy. but they suited him. he looked 18 by his looks. all in all he was cute. but i wonder why he stayed. i sighed deeply andhsi eyes slowly opened. i gasped. they were the most beautiful green i have ever seen. they were emerald like freshly cut grass. i stared int his eyes, opened mouthed. he stared at me.
"is there something on my face?" i jumped at the sound of his voice. my face turned red and i looked away.
"n-no..." i stuttered. my face just went even redder. he sighed and went serious.
"how are you?" he asked. i shifted and looked at him.
"sore." i replied.
"do you mind telling me what happened?" i nodded and told him.
"well i was walking home from work when i heard a rustling in the bushe. i turned and saw a wolf. it was big and grey then he attacked me. he bit onto my shoulder and didn't let go...." my voice started to choke. "i-i thought i was gonna die.... but ust as i was bout to give up he let go and then you came along. then that's all i remember before waking up here. by the way thank you." i finished. tears were streaming down my face as i spoke. the guy took me into his arms and held me as i sobbed into his shoulder.
"my name is Arthur Kirkland. what your's."
"C-Calla Moon." i sniffed. Arthur pulled away from and wiped the remaining tears from my eyes. he smiled softly and i couldn't help but smile back. my shoulder stiffened and i rubbed it groaning.
"we should probably take a look at that cause the doctor isn't coming for a while." i nodded and he started unwrapped the bandage. he blushed when the top of my chest showed. it was bare. he pulled off the bandage all the way and gasped.
"h-how bad is it?" i whispered.
"it's-it's gone..." he tripped over his words. i looked and saw that there was no bite. it was just a scar. as i stared at the scar my eyes started to droop and i yawned. Arthur layed me back down. my head rested against the soft pillow.
