"Evan, come on."
I rub my eyes and stare up at Amanda.  Confused, I try to sit up but my head gets dizzy and I fall back down.  "What-"
"Jakes here."  She spits out.  I knit my eyebrows together.  "Jake? Jake Paul?"  I ask carefully.  She nods her head slowly.  "As in the one I dated for two years?  That Jake Paul?"  I ask again, my voice cracking.
Now if you think I was being a cry baby, or I was upset because he was my ex; you're wrong.
I was upset because within the two years we dated he was cheating on me.
He took my virginity when I was fifteen, him seventeen.
He claimed it was for love.  I said I wasn't ready, but he told me after two years I should be ready and committed enough.
And then next day at Nash and Cameron's party I saw him shoving his tongue down an innocent girls throat.
When I asked him what the hell was going on, he said he was breaking up with me, because "you know, the Sparks gone and stuff."
So now I just lay here, on the ground, thinking about my mistakes.
If Rayne were here she would tell me to grow the fuck up and face my fears straight on.
But she wasn't here, so instead I quietly and quickly took off my heels and ran.
I ran fast, I ran until the bounce fell out of my hair, until my mascara was smudged, until I was swiping my key card into my hotel room door and standing on my balcony. As I watch the slow traffic, I try to take deep breaths and attempt to wrap my head around why he was here.
Why wouldn't he be here?
"Hey, E?"
I turn around and to my surprise, Aaron is standing in my doorway, his hands rubbing together in an awkward way.
"Hey A." I say, giving a weak wave. "I was just...getting some air." I turn back to the city.
"Come on, Evan, I know somethings up. I've seen you at your worst and your best, and I know that something is wrong with you." I roll my eyes, knowing he's right. His stare, the things happening, this trip being totally not what I thought it was, makes me begin to cry. "Beautiful, don't cry." Aaron says, grabbing my waist and pulling me towards him. His hands slowly work their way through my hair, while his other hands rubs comforting circles over my back.
Sniffling, I dig my head into his shirt and breathe in the cologne he has on.
"Aaron I don't know what to do. My lying ex is here, the boy that used to bully me is here, none of my best friends are here except for you...how is this summer going to be enjoyable?" He softly hooks his index finger under my chin, making me look at him.
"We're going to do this together, Evangeline. I won't let you have a pity party this entire thing. You're a beautiful, wonderful, capable young girl that I love very much. So stop worrying and get back down there." He finishes, wiping the tears from my cheeks. I smile up at him and give him a tight squeeze.
"Thank you, A." I say.
He smiles too, and then grabs my hand, walking me from my room back to the party, where I was going to face my fears head on.

Who likes Evan and Aaron? ;)
Not edited, sorry.
But I'll be putting another chapter up tonight because I feel bad this one is short. :)))
