Vamped Up

Chapter One:WTH

Violet

  I wake up to my head pounding and blood everywhere. All I see is darkness. I am sore and confused. I try to move but I am immobilized. Chains bound me. I scream and scream, but I have a feeling that no one can hear me. My heart beats fast and my eyes still look for something to cling to. I can't remember anything but my name: Violet. I try to reach into my deepest memories, but I find nothing but darkness. Inside and out, I find no light. I lie on this floor for hours trying to wriggle free, but there is no use. All of a sudden I hear a clinking noise and then a door open. Light comes pouring in, and I see a shadow of a man. I hear a switch being hit, and I am blinded by light. When I finally can focus, my mouth opens. The man before me is beyond anything I could ever imagine. He has slick black hair and green eyes with red flecks. The man is tall and intimidating yet I draw near to him.

Hello Violet. He smiles and I scream out in response.
"Who are you?!?!"
"That saddens me that you can't remember who I am, but you won't forget me again."
He comes to me and with me chained, crawls onto me.
Hissing as he speaks, "My name is Shadow. "
I scream and try to move, and he laughs.
"There's no use in trying darling. You're mine."
Shadow grabs my head and twists it and kisses my neck and it feels exhilarating but nothing prepared me for the bite. His fangs sink into my neck and pain hits. But all of a sudden there comes unimaginable pleasure.
I can't help to moan and enjoy it. His hands go up and down my body, and I don't want them to stop.
I start to feel dizzy and he stops. I whimper in protest.
"Don't worry. You'll have me again"

Shadow

When I came into the dungeon, I was expecting Violet Duquette to scream in fear.
But she didn't.
She didn't even remember me, so what did she have to fear? Last night I took her from her father, Isaac Douquette. He didn't know what happened, and I didn't want him to know.
He's probably out searching for her, my name never registering in his mind.
See, I had to take Violet. Her family are vampire slayers. She is very valuable to my family.
My father more than likely would want to kill her, but I couldn't let that happen.
Violet had long black hair and ice blue eyes that would cut into my soul, if I had a soul.
She looked delicious and quite beautiful for a human. I've been watching her for a while.
She stays to herself and I believe she hates her father. She seems pure, but I know she's feisty.
I was expecting one hell of a fight when I came in, but she wasn't herself.
I guess being chained down in your own blood for hours has that effect on you haha.
When I come onto Violet, she asks who I am.
She will learn to know every inch of me.
I laugh after I'm done feeding from her and she whimpers.
If only she knew what was in store for the future.
I get up from her and leave her still bound and go out to make a few preparations.

Violet

What the hell just happened? What did I just do?
Considering I was in chains, I guess I couldn't really control what happened.
I hate these things, binding me and restricting me against my will.
I wander why he's so afraid to let me go. I know nothing of my past, but for some
reason, I remembered the way a vampire's bite felt. 
I don't know if I should try to fight back next time, or if I should just give in again.
It felt great, feeling his fangs being pressed into me. My body felt fireworks, and my mind
was swarming with right and wrong. I don't know who Shadow is, but he is intoxicating.

Mirabelle

I hear screaming and moaning as I walk past the basement. Shadow must have a new girl.
Aviva will be at his throat. Aviva is Shadow's enemy now. They use to have a thing, but Aviva kept
killing Shadow's blood slaves out of envy. Shadow cut her off, but he never loved her anyways.
Aviva has been infatuated with Shadow forever, but the feeling isn't mutual.
I hear the screaming stop and the door opens. I hurry up and hide behind a wall.
I hear Shadow on the phone.

"I have her. She's safe. I don't think
it would be best to kill her though. I'll meet you for lunch
and I'll explain. "

Shadow protecting a human? Ha. That's a first. My cousin is not the type to have a heart. I check around the corner, and make sure he's gone.
I walk up to the dungeon door and use the master key.
I turn on the light and I can't believe my eyes.

Violet

Once again, I'm astounded by light. What the hell could he want now?
But when I look, it's not Shadow.
It's a woman with shoulder length brown hair. Now she has pure red eyes.
She looks as shocked as I am.
She calls out to me
" Who are you?"
"What do you mean, who am I? Who are you?"
"I'm the one asking questions! How dare you speak to me like that!" 
"Fine! My name is Violet. That's the only thing I know. "
"Interesting. Cousin must have taken your memory."
"Why would he do that?"
"Many vampires want you and your family dead.
He probably doesn't want you to try to escape and get back to them.
You have no chances of escaping though. Look at you. "

So now I have a family. So that has got to mean they're looking for me.

"If I have a family, they'll be coming after me."

"That was kind of the plan you see. When they do finally realize
that you're here, they'll all come. It's easier when the prey comes
to us. " 

"YOU MONSTER! You won't kill them!"

"Watch me. My name is not monster, by the way.
It's Mirabelle. I think I'll be leaving now."

Mirabelle laughed and then went out the door.
I can't believe all of this.
What did my family do that makes these people want to kill them.
Wait. She said vampires.
So Shadow was a vampire and so was she.
What the hell.
That means they're immortal. That's just great.
I hope my family has silver bullets, wherever they are.
I can't wait until Shadow comes  back. He better answer
my questions, or he'll sure get a fight out of me.

Shadow

After I got done with my phone call, I went and met with the Mob.
I wanted to get Violet's family killed off as much as possible before
I let them know that I had Violet.
We met in a dark alley way between two buildings filled with vampires.
My father is the head Mobster. It's similar to the Mob in "Godfather,"
but with very powerful vampires, and they don't leave just horses in your bed.
In seconds, the Mob surrounds me with my father so close to me, I can feel his breathing on my neck.

"Hello, Father. Nice to see you again. How's business?"

"It's going well, Shadow. Now attending to Violet, why shouldn't
we kill her? She'll end up causing problems. "

"Father, she is different. She's exotically beautiful and think about how much her blood is worth
to fellow vampires. Think of all the vampires wanting their revenge. "

"Good point. I want a taste of her myself. Let's go now. "

I worry as he says this. I know he'll want more than just a taste of her blood.
I have to come up with something.

"That may not be the best idea yet father. I drank a lot out of her before coming here. Much more
blood loss will kill her. She's human, remember?"

"Alas, and so she is. I'll spread the news that we have her to the vampires and make
business deals. Don't feed off her until she has all her blood back. I'll see you soon. "

And with that all the vampires are gone. It's time to return to my Violet.

Aviva

Mirabelle just told me Shadow has a new girl. She's been kept alive
for over 24 hours. That just doesn't sound like my Shadow. I wander what's
so interesting about a human. I don't care if she's our enemy, that would be more reason
to kill her. Maybe I need to take a visit to little Violet.
