Pre-Show Jitters Aren't Helping The Situation

Nico's POV (Whaaaaaaa this never happens!):

As I walked pass the amphitheater, I started to notice the multiple posters advertising the show, Percy and mine's name right under the title. Thanks to the help from the other cabins, there was also more handmade posters all around the camp, which I avoided at all cost. Every time I saw, it just reminded me that we were one day closer to putting on the show.

I mean, I'm not nervous. I'm fine. This going to be awesome... I couldn't even convince myself.

I walked into the back prep room we had set up to be bombarded by Hazel, halfway through getting her rock troll make up on.

"Nico!" She yelled and ran up to say hi. I smiled and waved, but got a full on hug anyways. She was dragged back to the makeup table and I made my way over to the costume area.

Once I noticed something weird going on in the back. Percy was practically crying from laughing so hard to Frank's costume. I'm pretty sure that Frank would have punched him if he still wasn't trying to fix the rest of the costume. I rolled my eyes and nearly ran into Will as I went to the back to change.

"Hey sunshine." He greeted, not moving away from my face.

I felt a blush rise to my cheeks and quickly step sided him and continued on my way to the back. What on earth was wrong with me? I didn't have much time to think about the situation because someone called my name.

I quickly turned around to see Piper running toward with another one of the costumes I had left on the rack. She was in full costume, minus her hair, which was still a mess from trying to help the others before the show started. I smiled, thinking of how calm she will be later when the curtain rises and everyone has their makeup and hair perfect. Moments like these really bring out the Aphrodite side that she tries to hide.

"Nico, I swear to Olympus, why couldn't you have gotten here earlier?" She demanded as she shoved the other costume into my arms.

Confused, I replied, "Because I like sleep?"

She rolled her eyes, laughed, and told me to come back out to the front once I was ready. I turned around again, passing by Annabeth, in full costume, giving tips to the young daughter of Iris that was playing young female Christof.

----------------------------------------------

"Got any fours?" I asked Leo.

"Go fish." He replied, smirking.

"Lair." Frank claimed, "I can see your cards, Valdez."

"Yeah and I'm the cheater!"

"You're just terrible at hiding cards!"

"Dude, he's got a point."

"Pick a side, Jackson!"

"Nico stop moving!" Piper demanded over the arguing going on over a card game. She was having some trouble styling my hair just right today, and there was no way I was going to trust Drew with it. Piper agreed with me.

"Guys!" Will yelled over the commotion, trying to get everyone's attention. We all turned our heads, and moved to circle around him and Megan, who was standing patiently at his side. He waited patiently for all of us to come around before making his big pre-show, cliche speech.

"Look," He started out, "I know how much you guys wanted to do this-"

"Actually, I wanted to do Wicked." Some camper interrupted.

"That would have been easier." Megan muttered under her breath.

"Anyways," Will continued, "I just want to say how thankful I am for you guys in wanting to do this and put up with each other so that we could do this. Remember, we are all in this together."
