I opened my locker and was greeted by a barrage of sticky notes that were pink, green and blue. All of them with a different word each.Each word was surrounded by intricate patterns. The first one I noticed had butterflies around the word. The word was "Hi."
People in the hallway stopped to look. Great. Now I was going to be late to class picking up all these and throwing them away. I stooped down and put the notes in a stack. The last one I put in the stack had swirly designs on it. I closed my locker and headed down the hall towards the recycling bin.
But I passed right by it. Instead, I tucked the stack of notes into the pocket of my sea green binder. Who knows why I did that, but it's a darn good thing I did. If I hadn't, I don't think I ever would've met him.
