Once there was a young girl named Abby. She only had one friend, Rayne Brown. One day on the school bus Abby sat at the back, no one wanted to sit with her, she started to cry.
"Excuse me," said a voice from above her.
Abby looked up. She was surprised to see that a boy was standing above her. Yes. A boy! No boy had ever stood above or talked to Abby. In fact, no boy had ever looked at Abby.
"W-w-w-were you talking to...me?" Abby asked.
"Um, yes I was, I was wondering if I could sit there, in the seat next to you?" the boy asked.
"Y-y-you want to sit...near me?" she asked.
"Um, yes I guess so, if it troubles you-"
"NO!" Abby shrieked, "I-I mean, no, it doesn't trouble me."
Abby couldn't believe it. A boy. A real boy was sitting in the seat across from her! but, soon it came time for him to get off the bus.
"Well, this is my stop, see you tomorrow." he said.
"Yup!" Abby replied.
Just as the boy was leaving...
"WAIT! I don't know your name!" the boy shouted.
"IT IS ABBY! MY NAME IS AB-"
That was it, the boy didn't hear her and it would be all night before she got to see his face again.
