Today was the last day of Junior year. It was the day of our final test. The other tests were done and I did a great job in every one of them.
Today was math. From tomorrow, our Christmas and new year vacations are going to start.
I was well prepared, nervous and excited.
Meeting Emma right before the test and wishing all the best, I left for the exam hall.
Unfortunately, the asshole I hated sat just on right of me. He wasn't yet here. But I knew he was going to sit there.I groaned and sighing, took my seat.
The old woman who was our invigilator for today, started giving us instructions. They were the same old ones. So I decided to ignore her.
The exam was going to start in just two minutes, when some one finally decided to show up.
"May I come in?" He asked in a cold tone. My eyes saw him from the corners of it and found a bored look on his face.
But the thing that caught my attention was his hand which was covered in a bandage.
I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion.
What the hell happened?
"You're late Mr Parker. I can't allow you inside.." The old woman shook her head while sadly saying.
"I'm not going to give the exam. I have an injury. I'm just here to give you this permission letter from the Principal..." He extended his hand to give a white colored folded sheet to her.
She took it, and read it for a minute. Then she said something to him and he left.
"Oh my...Zayd got injured. But how?" One of the girls behind me asked. I could understand the fake concern in her voice.
"I heard he had a fight with one of his friends. Even that guy is injured. What's his name...um...the new one?" Some other girl replied to her.
I tried to listen more but the old invigilator interrupted and announced that we could start our papers.
But what was the use now?
I was already distracted. Now I wouldn't be able to complete the test as per my preparations.
I hated this thing.
Even if I had decided to hate that bastard till the end of this world, there was some small stupid part of me always waiting for something about him to hear. That part always got affected by anything he did.
And no matter how much my bigger part tried to kill that small part, it ended up losing.
Because it always made me realize that smaller part was stronger.I was having an internal battle with myself. And that wasn't good. That wasn't normal.
For the next two hours, I solved math. Whatever I knew, I did.
Then, I left the exam Hall after submitting my answer sheet.
I was glad that at the end of the second hour, I was able to get that bastard out of my head.
Grinning, I headed towards my locker.
"Aw. Look at her. The girl Zayden Parker used and threw!!!" I heard some bitchy voices talk.
I snapped my neck towards the voices and saw two girls standing at a distance laughing. They were looking at me, fake pouting and having cruelty in their eyes.
I smirked and walked towards them.
Their grins faded as they saw me coming towards them with a confident expression.
