I hurriedly ran down the streets of London, dragging my trunk behind me. Apparently I was supposed to find The Leaky Cauldron.
I was just about to give up and assume this was all a prank when I spotted a large man and a boy.
"Excuse me!" I said as I ran towards them, "excuse me, but do you by any chance know where I might find The Leaky Caludron?"
"'Ello there! The Leaky Cauldr'n? We're just goin' there now, aren't we Harry?" The large man said.
"Yes, Hagrid," the boy said with a timid smile.
I shifted my gaze from the large man, I think that boy called him Hagrid, to the boy.
He was skinny with messy black hair and glasses. But what stood out the most where his eyes, bright green and full of hope. He looked about eleven, like me.
"Oh! I'm so sorry I forgot to introduce myself!" I said, mentally slapping myself for being so rude, "I'm (Y/n)."
"Well, I'm Hagrid and this is Harry," Hagrid said.
"It's nice to meet you," Harry piped up.
I followed them to The Leaky Cauldron and Harry opened the door for me.
"Ladies first," he said politely.
"Thanks," I replied as I stepped into what looked like a bar.
Soon after Harry and Hagrid followed me inside.
"Ah, Hagrid! Usual I presume?" The barman asked. Hagrid must have been a regular there.
"No thanks, Tom, I'm on official Hogwarts business. Just helpin' Harry here get his school supplies," Hagrid relpied, patting Harry on the back.
"Bless my soul.. it's Harry Potter," Tom said, staring at Harry.
Harry's eyes widened at how this man could possibly know his name. Then, another man walked up and shook his hand.
"Welcome back, Mr Potter, welcome back," he said.
"Err.. thank you," Harry said but soon everyone was up and trying to shake his hand.
I stayed hidden behind Hagrid, hoping I wouldn't be seen. Unfortunately, someone did see me.
"Is that (Y/n) (Y/l/n)?!" A woman yelled out, causing everyone to stare at me.
"N-no.. I'm," I frantically tried to think of a name, "I'm Heather McKenzie," I blurted out.
"Oh.." the woman said in disappointment.
"Well, must get on - lots ter buy," Hagrid said over the noise of people introducing themselves to Harry.
"Goodbye," Harry and I said to the people together as we left out the back of the pub.
"See, Harry? You're famous," Hagrid said whilst pulling out a pink umbrella.
"But why am I famous, Hagrid? All those people back there, how is it they know who I am?" Harry asked.
"I'm not sure I'm the right person ter tell yer that, Harry," Hagrid relpied. "Three up... two across," he mumbled under his breath as he tapped it out onto the brick wall that was in front of us.
Suddenly, the wall started moving. I jumped back and grabbed Harry's arm in fright as the bricks formed an archway.
"Welcome ter Diagon Alley!" Hagrid exclaimed.
I noticed that I was still holding Harry's arm and quickly let go.
"Sorry.." I whispered to Harry.
