For a week Chris had been missing so I asked the Tobeys where Chris was.
"CHRIS HAS BEEN WORKING ON THE TIME MACHINE" They said at the same time.
After school, the Tobeys took me to Chris' house. I knocked on the door of the ordinary house. Then I heard lots of footsteps becoming louder. Next, a tall man in a filthy lab coat opened the door. He was drowsy man who looked tired and sleepy.

He asked,
"Who is it?" In a drowsy voice.
"Hello, we are here to see Chris?" I told him.
"Chris eh? You cops? Government? Maniac Mechanics-
"We're friends of Chris" I interpreted.
"CHRIS! THERE ARE SOME PEOPLE HERE TO SEE YOU!" He yelled.
"Wait, I'm busy!" Yelled Chris in the back ground.
More footsteps headed towards the door, the boys saw a figure in a welding mask and mechanic's apron walking towards the door, the figure lifted the welding helmet and....

It was Chris.
"Hey fellas, you wanna see the Time Machine so far?" Asked Chris.
"HECK YEAH!!!" Tobeys and I shouted. Chris shoved his welding helmet back on and led us to his back garage. In the garage, there were many technological gadgets and old steampunk artifacts but at the very back of the garage was a dusty old cloak over an old wooden crafted table, Chris asked us,
"Are you ready to have your minds blown?!" Dramatically.
"Yes" we just managed to wimped at the top of our lungs with great excitement.

"Tada!" Chris shouted as the *WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS* song started playing from Chris' arm. On the table lied a dusty old soccer ball but Chris continued to keep an enthusiastic smile while the Tobeys and I looked at him with an awkward face,
"Where's the Time Machine?" I asked.
"It's on the table" Chris replied.
"That's a soccer ball" I replied.
"No it's not, it's a Time Machine" Chris replied back, the Champions song still playing from his arm.

"Chris, please stop playing that song" I called. Chris pulled up his sleeve and then peeled back some of his skin. We could see his robot arm and the CD player installed in it. He pressed pause on the CD player and slid the skin on his arm forward again.
"Here, let me show you how it works" insisted Chris. He grabbed the Soccer ball and pulled it in half. Inside the soccer ball were lots of flashy lights, buttons and circuit boards. However in the centre was an old vintage pocket watch.

"All my time machine needs is two sources of time, something from the past and something from the future, that's where you two come in" explained Chris.
