Chapter 2

5:30 am. The next morning. He woke up, his heart racing, and ran down the stairs. His dad, Macao, had already went to bed. Which was good for what Romeo was planning on doing. He quickly and quietly opened the door. Running as fast as he could, he went down to the local corner store to get snacks for his and Wendy's "date" (as he likes to call it) at lunch. He had almost forgotten about the "date". By 5:37, he had gotten home and started getting ready. Luckily for him, Macao hadn't set his alarm so Romeo woke him up when he got back from the store. Meanwhile, Wendy had forgotten to set her alarm as well. She woke in a hurry and got her stuff together just in time to leave. While walking to school, Wendy heard some Japanese music playing with the lyrics of "True Dream Chasing, Chasing. A Prophetic Dream." Wendy had learned some of the Japanese language while visiting Japan about a few months ago. About 7 minutes later the three friends met together in the courtyard. Today during chemistry class the teacher announced a new addition to the class looking for extra credit. Romeo's eyes widened. He was so excited. The new class member was so beautiful and looked like Wendy. Then he realized it was Wendy and got even more excited. "Okay Wendy you can take the seat next to ... um ..... Romeo." Mr. Totomaru had told her. What happened next was amazing for Romeo.
