"Ketro come on! Come on!"my little sister exited giggle pulling me to the only candy shop in the entire mall. " hold on leana" I looked behind me.

For the fifth time that day I'd felt someone was watching me. Mom had said it would be alright if we walked around but only if I kept an eye on the overactive pest but be back at the food court by 7.

I glanced at my watch. 5:42 The number flashed bright red . I felt a strong tug on my hand and if i wasn't walking fast I would fallen on the nasty floor of the mall.

leana shrill giggle running inside the store. " leana wait up!!!! And don't break anything!!!!!!"I shrieked after her stumbling into the antique store.

I sighed watching her brown pigtails disappear behind a ton of candy.

I walked to a little table sitting in the corner I sat down pulling my satchel off onto the old fashioned wooden top. Pulling out a sketch pad and pencil I began to draw the antique clock on the wall I had a perfect seat by the window looking out into the food court.

The hairs on the back of my began to tingle the sixth time that day. I gulped and looked out the window .I didn't see anyone watching me.

Everyone was too invested into what they were doing. I put my sweatshirt on covering most of my frame since it was a size big on me and pulled my hair back into a ponytail.

I took another glance at my watch6:02. Crap !!!! If I stayed here I would never get a chance to get to the music store. I quickly put my stuff back in my bag .

I looked around suddenly realizing that I didn't know where leana was. I started to panic. I walked across the room and looked towards the cash register.

There she was watching Sophie first on the floor eating candy from a bag that said come again soon. She was eating candy that I didn't buy. " LEANA FAYE FROST WHAT IN THE HELL DO YOU THINk YOU......." "

" I bought it for her I hope you don't mind" an familiar voiced smoothly said. My eyes went wide and I swiftly turned around surprised at the person who was standing behind counter wiping the polished wood with ease.

I smirked at the blonde standing before me and rolled my eyes. " thanks mike but I think I can afford my own sister candy, yeah"I said coolly. Hoping he didn't see how tense I was . My heart skipped a beat.

Stop it !!!!!!that's really annoying every time I'm around him.
Mike wash was in the ninth grade a grade above mine he wasn't a football player but had a mean arm. He had several extra credit classes I was in . Including art. Every time I was around him I felt comfortable like I belonged but the class would soon end.

He tried to get me to hang with him after school with him and his friends but I had made an excuse ever time he had ask for the past month. I just felt like didn't belong there with them and o was tired of pretending.

Actually that's what I told myself but I was scared of them noticing how off I've been the weird feelings I had of someone watching me weren't going away and I didn't want them to se me stressed.

They actually seem to be getting stronger and that's what terrified me!!!!!

His green eyes stared at me with "playful smile.

He slapped the rag over his shoulder and leaned his elbows over the counter clasping his hands he smiled even more as I went over to him and sat down in the high stool that was bolted into the floor." I saw u come in and wanted to keep you here to talk to you for awhile before you bolted off" his playfully smirk faltered. Then he turned his head towards leana.

" hence your sister" we laughed. I tucked a peace of my plain brown hair behind my ear." So you planned this" I asked skeptically . He nodded and pushed off the counter jestering his hand to leana. " but I can't take all the credit" I chuckled " stay right here for a sec Kay?"

He pointed a long finger at me . I nodded. He scowled and put his hands up toward motioning for me to stay. " No! I said stay stayyyyyy" I chucked a candy cane at him he pushed through a pair of doubled doors laughing like a hyena.
He came back with two styrofoam foam cups of coffee. To say I was shocked was a understatement. He gave me one and sat across from me. " thanks" I said barely getting the words out of my mouth. He nodded all serious.
