chapter one

Three.Two.One.The tide comes in just as i said.As it hit my feet i breathed in deeply begging for it to take me.Maybe sweep me away to a deserted island where there were stacks and stacks of books that i could read until the day i die.Until i had so many paper-cuts i couldn't turn the pages anymore.

My mom had left over an hour ago saying she would be back whenever.Thats reashuring mom.

"Hey!"

I looked over to see if someone was yelling at me.

"Girl!This is a private beach!"

So he was talking to me.

"Private beach?"I say "Like you gotta pay to be on it?Ive never heard that before."I say rolling my eyes and ignoring him looking back at the water.

"NO!As in my dad bought me this beach as of yesterday."

Of course i thought someone bought you a beach. You asked for it and someone bought it for you. What else is new?

"Oh well since daddy bought it for you ill get off so i wont rearrange your sand a way you don't like it.I'm very sorry."

My voice dripped with sarcasm.

And his eyes were wide for a second.Like he was surprised at something.

I started walking away towards the condo.Kicking the sand as i went to irritate him.

"Wait!"I turned around mustering up the most irritated look i could

"What?"I yelled louder than necessary

"If you would have been swimming I would have let you stay i bet you would look super hot like that. And with a different look on your face because that one isn't attractive on you."

"Okay ,"i say "ill go home and put on a swimsuit and come back and me and you can splash around in the water together."

"Really?"

"Yes and than maybe after that ill let you sleep with me.Get freaking real rich boy I'm not another blonde that's going to sleep with you just because you can buy things with your daddy's money.I am not impressed. You got the wrong girl."

I turned and walked away relizing how wrong i was.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I couldn't sleep.Something was bothering me.What was it?Maybe its because i didn't get to stay at the beach as long as i wanted to.Stupid rich boy .Just because you have money doesn't buy happiness. You gotta grow up have a family be happy with someone you actually had time to love.Being taken care of is better.Money buys that stuff to keep you alive.Buys nice things and it keeps you temporally happy. That's all i need.Fake happiness.I could live with that and die at an early age i thought as i fell asleep.

The glass  is half full not empty.Positivity.My dad always said think positive because if you don't.What do you have when everything is torn from you. This way you will never be left with nothing. So in case i ever conveniently lost everything i ever believed in.I could stand there and say well at least the worlds still turning.

I sat down at the table in the coffee shop.Waiting for my coffee to come,I had this thing i did everyday if i could.I'd get coffee sit at the one table with one chair and watch peoples actions. There movements showed everything.A couple drinking coffee together:Easily tell she was desperate she was chatting away and he looked slightly annoyed she was trying way to hard.Witch was sad she was pretty. The guy obviously checking out other girls was even sadder.

"ORDER 51!"Someone called at the counter.

I stood up walking towards the counter,"5.95."He said a little to happy.

I looked up and non other than rich boy was staring me in the face.

"Oh hell no.I thought you had money but your working here?"I stared in disbelief wondering how dumb i was.

"HAHA calm down.My dad bought it but not for me just because, and i get tired of sitting at home all the time.So 5.95" He said still grinning.

I handed him a ten

"Keep the change."I say walking back to my table.

I sat down watching a totally different couple. They seemed to be arguing and very soon i could see why. So easy to tell. She was pregnant. And he seemed to not like it.He stormed out.Seeing she wanted to cry but she held it back walking as calmly as she could to the bathroom.I wanted to cry at that point. What a jerk.I sipped my drink noticing it was gone.My glass was defiantly empty.I just hope she could pretend hers wasnt.Because the world was still turning.
