After I had woken up I had a worried Josh passing around my room back and forth, when he saw that I woke up he was thrilled and scolded me for scaring him. And all I could think of was how he kissed me before when I was naked, I mean he was going on and on about how he was worried and how the doctor was talking shit and all I could think about is jumping his bones. 'It's normal silly, it's our mate' my wolf Clay said in my mind, where the fuck have you been? No answer. "Serene are you listening to me?" Josh said and stopped walking back and forth, I blinked a couple times. "No sorry, I was trying to wrap my head around things." I lied; I mean I could say I was thinking of jumping his bones. It was my idea to take it slow and do it the human way, but do I really want to do that? I mean I can change my mind right?

"Your amazing." Josh said, wait hold up. How did we go for him telling me how worried he is to me lying about what I am actually thinking about to that I am amazing? "I'm not that amazing." I said and blushed, Josh smiled a goofy smile. "Oh but you are." Josh said and pecked me on the lips, my wolf growled inside of me wanting nothing more than to grab him and give a big heated kiss. "So a Triple Hybrid huh?" Josh said and chuckled, I smiled. Yeah everything is a little crazy. "I found out who the mysterious guy is." I said, Josh looked confused. Oh fuck! I haven't told him. "What mysterious guy?" Josh asked all the humor gone from his face, I fucked up. "Oh nothing." I said and dragged my fingers across my lips pretending to lock it, Josh gave me the look, and the look means that I have to tell him and that if I don't he will be mad. "Serene, tell me." Josh said in a serious voice, I looked away from him. "It's nothing." I said, Josh growled. "If it is nothing you can tell me." Josh said in a slight pissed of voice, I sighed. "We received a note from a guy we didn't know who he was at the time." I said, Josh nodded he had his serious face on. "Then a guard was killed and carved on the guard was a sign connected to my mother." I said, Josh nodded and swallowed indicating that he was upset and concerned. "And I had a dream about the mysterious man where he told me he had followed me my whole life." I said, that made Josh growl. "And now while I was unconscious I was visited by my mother and she told me who it was." I said, Josh nodded and looked on the ground and signed with his band for me to continue. "His my dad's brother, his name is Caen Smith and blames my father for the death of his mate." I said, Josh nodded. "If we are lucky he doesn't know that I am a Triple Hybrid now." I said, Josh nodded. "What did they note say?" Josh asked, I sighed. "You may have killed my minions but I am still here, so beware little monster. Then it was signed your worst nightmare" I said, Josh nodded. "I need to mark you." Josh said, wait what? Mark me what does he mean by that?

"What do you mean mark me?" I asked suspicious, Josh looked serious in fact his eyes kept turning black and then back to his original color. "It's some kind of mating ritual isn't it?" I said a little angry, he knows what I think of this; I don't want to go to fast. "It's just a little thing, it connects us." Josh said, connects us? What does he mean?

"I don't understand." I said, Josh sighed indicating that he was calming down a bit. "When two mates meet the first step of the mating process is eye contact." Josh said, the time at the party when I knew he was my mate but he didn't before he and I had eye contact. "For vampires you mean." I said, Josh nodded. "the next step is the marking, it is when you and I bite each other to show other that we are taken, it also gives us a connection." Josh said, what the fuck! He wants to bite me to show other males that I am taken? How will that work? I mean males will not care. "What more?" I said in a pissed of tone, Josh knows that I would get mad once he told me what marking was. "I will feel what you feel, you will feel what I feel and we will be able to talk to each other through our mind." Josh said, I nodded." Like a private mind link." I said, Josh nodded with a smile on his face. "So can I? I mean it would calm me down." Josh said, I would do anything for Josh but not this, not yet. "I can't, I just can't right now." I said, Josh nodded with a sad face. "I understand, I should leave you to rest." Josh said and walked out of the room, I sighed. I then heard a knock on the door, was it Josh coming back? The door opened and in walked Kaila. "Ah you guys are still here?" I said, I thought they would leave because the mission was done and I survived the bite. "Yeah we can't leave you, especially when you got another crazy uncle after you." Kaila said, wait how did she know that? I gave her a pointed look; she was listening to our conversation. "You where listening to us." I said in a serious tone, Kaila smiled sheepishly. "I couldn't resist!" Kaila yelled, I laughed. "So I heard from the ghost that Jamie is mad at you." Kaila said, my eyes went wide. "Oh my god is it only me who hasn't met these ghosts!" I yelled out, Kaila laughed. "Maybe they don't like you." Kaila said, I huffed in response. "How is the baby?" I asked, I had to speak about the elephant in the room. "She is very healthy." Kaila said and smiled and put a hand on her stomach, it's a girl! Awwh I will teach her how to fight and how to detect lies and all that shit. "I'm going to be an aunty." I said and smiled, I know I won't be a biological aunty, but Kaila is like my sister. "Yeah, Jason and I have already named her." Kaila said, I smiled. "Nea Serene Newton." Kaila said and smiled, I smiled. "Why Jason's last name?" I asked with a smile, I am so happy and filled with joy that they took my name as her middle name. "Well after they baby arrived we plan to get married." Kaila said and showed me her hand, that is a big rock! I mean wow! Kaila smiled her eyes filled with pride; she got herself a great guy. "So why don't you want Vamp guy to mark you?" Kaila said, Dammn I knew she would ask that. " I don't know, I just don't want to move to fast and the mate thing is all new to me." I said, Kaila nodded understandingly. "I understand, it took a long time for me to let Jason take my v-card." Kaila said, I burst out laughing. "Though that isn't the same thing." Kaila said and smiled, I continued to laugh. "So when will you guys take the next step?" Kaila asked, I sighed. "I don't know, everything with my uncle and triple hybrid is just too much for anything else." I said, Kaila nodded. "Well I got to go, me and Jason are going to go and buy baby clothes and other stuff." Kaila said, I nodded and smiled as she walked out of the medical room. After an hour of just laying there on my phone, the door was opened and the doctor walked inside. "Well I have looked at your vitals and you are good to go." Dr. Grey said, I smiled and sat up. "Thank you." I said, Dr. Grey nodded and smiled and then walked out of the room so I could change back to my clothes. When I had changed back to my clothes I grabbed my phone and walked out of the room. The medical hospital is its own little house in the back yard a little longer up on a hill, when I stepped outside I was hit by the freezing air. "Fuck its cold." I said to myself, I looked over the backyard and saw some people training including my friends. I then looked over at the garden and smiled, every time I was there I felt as I was with my mother. I walked down the hill holding my arms rubbing them to get warm; I wonder what my school thinks about my disappearance. I wonder if there is anyone who cares that I am gone, and I wonder if there is more people that think that I kidnapped Claudia. I did kill her, though I didn't kidnap her. "Serene! Your okay!" Amanda said running up to me as I walked inside the mansion, I smiled and hugged her. "Yeah I am okay." I said, I wondered if I should tell her that I am a triple Hybrid now, well I will be when I complete the transformation and I don't even know if I want to. "So I heard Josh asked to mark you." Amanda said, Dammn those ghosts! What is their problem? They seem to have fun spreading my secrets to everyone. "Let me guess, the ghosts told you." I said, Amanda smiled and nodded. "You know Finn asks about you." Amanda said, I had almost forgotten Finn. A part of me wants to remember him as the good guy who wanted to save his sister, but at the same time I am still a little mad at him for helping Claudia to kidnap me for Uncle Sam. "I haven't thought of Finn for a long time, does that make me a bad person?" I asked, I mean I have had a lot on my plate, I mean I can't juggle everything at the same time. "No it doesn't make you a bad person." Amanda said and smiled, I smiled as we walked inside my room. "Well next time you see him, tell him that I forgive him for the kidnap thing." I said, Amanda exploded with happiness. "I will surely tell him that, he will be so happy." Amanda said, she hugged me and then told me she had to go. I really am honest when I told Amanda that I forgive Finn, I mean he did it to save his sister from my Uncle and I would do the same thing if it was Dylan, though I would have done it differently. "You're a sneaky little bitch." I heard Kaitlin say from behind me, I turned around and looked at her confused. "What are you talking about?" I asked, she growled at me, I growled back. Growling at an Alpha is a sign of disrespect; Grandpa is a really good teacher. "I know your little secret." Kaitlin growled out, my secret? What secret? Wait she can't know about the bear can she? Oh god that is humiliating, but wait? That can't be it, she called me a sneaky bitch. "You put a spell on Josh to make him believe that he was your mate to take him away from me." Kaitlin growled out, what the fuck? What kind of person does she think I am? And what did she hear that from? Ghost again? Fuck do they also spread false rumors?
