"Junaid! Please!" Zak let out a groan in frustration. "She is driving me crazy and I don't even know her name!"
"There's nothing new in that. I have been telling you for years-you're entirely bonkers but..."
His eyebrows creased as he gave me an exasperated glance. "In case you haven't noticed, I am not in the mood for one of your stupid references."
For the first time that night, I took in his dejected form. He held his head in his hands, shoulders slumped and the long hair covering his eyes. I found myself frowning.
Could Zak be serious?
As if hearing my thoughts, he raised his head and asked me, his voice solemn. "Please Jun. Do this for me."
And that's when I made my first mistake.
I nodded.
