"ha-hayes" I stutter
His head looks up and he examines me. Then a Smile creeps upon his face.
"Hey Victoria!" He said standing up.giveing me a hug. I huged him back.
"wow, bid not expect to see you here!" He says chuckling while scratching his neck.
I laughed along with him the guy sitting next to him mutter something. I couldn't make out the words. Nor could I see what he looked like.there was a huge ice pack on his face.Hayes seemed to notice I was staring and he took my arm and sar Me down next to him.
I looked down to Hayes' hand to see a few cuts and his knuckles.
My face when pale as a ghost and I stood up. I was slowly walking away from Hayes.
"Victoria? Victoria what's wrong?" Hayes asked worried.
I walked over to the injured dude and lifted his I've pack down. He makes a groan and then looks up at me.
I gasp and step back.
"c-carlos?" I breath out
"suprise?" He said back
I snap my head at Hayes and he sent no expression.
"What the hell happened? You beat Carlos up"? I said, almost screaming.
How do you know him? Hayes asks
"you didn't answer me" I say looking at him he walks up to me and grads my wrist. I got out of his grip and looked down.
Its a long story. There's no time for that the principal should be talking to me anyways".he says."now answer my question".
We bummped in to each other at this storage area the other day.I tripped and he. Caught Me I Say shrugging. I looked over to Carlos to seeing by covering his face with his ice pack. Trying to avoid eye contact with me and Hayes.
" Victoria we have too get your ID and your school picture taken my mom said".who is this.
" Hayes I simply answered folding my arms and sighing.
Hayes extends his arm toward my mom" nice to meet you Mrs.Flores
It's miss.Duran now she says faking a smile.
"Oh I'm sorry" Hayes says looking down embarrassed.
After a long awkward silence I spoke up".it warms nice bumming in to you Hayes. But now I must take my photo. See you at school on Monday". I Say pushing my mom in the other direction.
